Hello Everyone,

Thank you to those who commented on my

last post and how many visit needed especially for a country like Nigeria. I will be visiting again soon for a second visit.  I have some other questions regarding the I-129 and I will appreciate any help.

Our chat log from WhatsApp is a lot of pages (654 pages) and Facebook Messenger is 194 pages. Do I have to include all the pages  together with the I-129 packet? Does it matter if the packet is heavy/bulky due to evidence provided.

Also, when we got engaged we were alone so I only have one picture of me with my fingers raised to my face to show the ring. Is it okay to send such picture as part of evidence?  Thanks 🙏

Hi.  They will not read all those log sheets.  Think quality.  I would include the picture showing your ring, if you took pictures with him, friends, family, I would include those also.  You are at the I-129F packet stage & don't need extensive logs.  Your fiance can take some to his interview later.  Also, don't forget to include the letter of intent to marry, page with stamped visa, airline payment receipt, anything that shows the two of you actually met within the two years prior to filing.  Take your time & read over the entire packet to check for anything that you might have missed, & sign where requested.  You will do just fine.

Nigeria is a high fraud country and really hard to get a K1 visa from. From what I've read in other posts, 2 visits is usually not enough. I would visit a few more times before you actually start filing.

About the logs, please don't send everything. USCIS will likely throw them out if you send 600 pages, with the chance that important stuff gets thrown out. Chat logs are no evidence that you met, just that you talked to each other. If you're going to send them, pick a few. More important are airline tickets, passport stamps, hotel bookings and pictures to proof that you met within the last 2 years.

Make sure the photos for a K1 are just a trip to visit him and family and friends

good to have one of you and his mom to show the family approves

do not show any photos that can be considered as a marriage ceremony as many are denied in Nigeria for "being too married for a K1"

as for chats i limited mine to the start of our talks and a few pages in between and some current ones /not the whole chat but a few select sentences reguarding getting to know each other

Thanks 🙏.. I just got back to the US from

Nigeria last week. I was only able to stay 10days   I am starting a new job in May and won’t accrue enough time to visit again until December. I am hoping we can have 2 more visits  before the interview. The first one was to file the 129 . And I am definitely not sending 600 pages that’s why I posted here to get ideas and input. Few pages I will send will be those that shows that I traveled to Nigeria and when we actually started the relationship. Thanks

I would recommend that you introduce yourself at a thread where others from Nigeria are discussing their experience with preparation, interviewing and other topics that concern the visa process.

Jeez, NO.  No one wants to read through that.

Quality not quantity. A few pages of quality evidence are worth more than 100 pages of “I love you” and heart emojis, etc.
