Ayrton got a reaction from moreadore in OCTOBER 2019 AOS Filers
That's actually when the wait begins. You can only expect a letter when the status changes to Interview Scheduled.

Ayrton got a reaction from kokshe99 in Electronic Form I-94
Try removing some letter of the end of the name. If you still can't get it, contact CBP and they'll fix it. They probably put their name wrong in the system.
My very last name was put in the system as Sil instead of Silva.

Ayrton reacted to K + M in Exactly what Tax Forms for I-864? RFE issue (merged)
Everything there makes sense, just so its clear no matter what we are getting a co-sponsor already talked to my father about the issue and he is going to be our co-sponsor, it was just making sure that a straight denial isn't possible if no 864a.
If there is no chance for the jump to a straight denial and just a possible RFE for a 864a then the plan of action for us will likely be:
IRS verifical letter of non filing for past 3 years
Formal Written Letter/Statement as to why no filing past 3 years
I-864 for Joint Sponsor
Tax Transcripts for past 3 years of Joint Sponsor (Joint)
Pay Stubs of Joint Sponsor
W-2's of joint
Birth Certificate of Joint Sponsor

Ayrton reacted to n8blogg in I need HELP rescheduling GC I485 Interview!
Yes, I was able to chat w a rep there, I consider myself very lucky for having been able to do so. This office is relatively near Trolley Square, 660 south 200 east. I will make sure to update this once I hear back on the rescheduling. Thanks again for your help and replies to my questions .

Ayrton got a reaction from William&Emily in Eeeek help!
They're probably gonna reject your EAD form and return it to you. You will need to resubmit it with the correct category.

Ayrton reacted to Nat&Amy in Which name to book airline tickets in?
Has she registered the marriage in the Brazilian consulate? Or did you guys get married in Brazil? I see that many Brazilians do not update their Brazilian documents after they get their green card but whenever you guys have the time, a quick visit to the Brazilian Consulate can go a long way. Getting a passport that reflects her name change can avoid a lot of headaches in the future.

Ayrton reacted to Syuzi in RFE after Interview for green card
Thank you so much for the reply. I will send the application for renewal today. I had it ready before but when I saw that I'm gonna have GC interview I didn't send it. Should've sent when I had more time. Well. Yes. There is nothing else I can do.
Thanks again

It's correct. No biometrics needed for I-131.

Ayrton got a reaction from Del A. in September 2019 AOS Filers
You need to send proof of his current job. An employment letter with his salary would be ideal. Paystubs from an old job wouldn't do much since he's not working there anymore.

Ayrton got a reaction from Sarge2155 in September 2019 AOS Filers
If you don't mind me asking, how much does he make? Because sometimes parts of the package gets lost and they have to send RFE. If they lose the tax return, the sponsor is automatically disqualified and they ask for a joint sponsor.
If your sponsor/husband is well above the poverty line, I would just send all the documents again to prove you don't need a joint sponsor.

Ayrton got a reaction from Happy Traveler in I need to do an AOS and have some questions.
1. Sarge posted the link to the November thread. They have a check list of everything you need to submit. The only extra thing you need to submit is a new medical, since it's been more than a year of her medical abroad.
2. She's been out of status since when the i-94 expired, so she can technically be deported if they want to. So file it asap.
3. Yes, everyone needs to send it to Chicago.
4. Correct. EAD and AP are free with AOS.
The good thing about waiting is that now she's gonna receive a 10 years green card instead of the 2 years conditional one.

Ayrton got a reaction from Matrix13 in OCTOBER 2019 AOS Filers
You don't need a new medical (I-693) with you file AOS up to a year after your medical abroad and your DS3025 is marked complete. If it's not complete, you need only the vaccination part of the I-693, but you can send it at anytime between filing and the interview.

Ayrton got a reaction from kolopop in What can it be?
Biometrics appointment letter, probably. You don't get a notification for that.

Ayrton got a reaction from Naes in USCIS visit
I'm sorry that happened to you.
Just one thing. You were not required to send I-693 with the AOS, so you could've sent the AOS package just after getting married, and later, when done with medical, mail out I-693 (or even wait for the interview).

Ayrton got a reaction from Mimiso in September 2019 AOS Filers
Biometrics are done at the closest Application Support Center/Office. In my case, my local office is Hartford, CT, but my biometrics were in Port Chester, NY, which is not an office.
In your case , El Monte is a Support Center, and probably closer to your home address. But it doesn't mean that's where your interview is gonna take place

Ayrton got a reaction from Ash.1101 in i94 stamp sufficient?
Mine was fixed through their online form. I sent a copy of my passport and Visa and they fixed it right away.

Ayrton got a reaction from Ash.1101 in i94 stamp sufficient?
Keep in mind that your name on the I-94 must match your passport. So if something is missing, you still need to get it fixed.

The kids needs to be mentioned. They're part of his household.
For 4 people, that's the poverty line (125%):

The forms are reviewed separately, so they need their own supporting documents. Send one for each.
That's correct.

Received the 3 notices in the mail today. Two of them have my last name misspelled. The funny is the mistake is different on each of them. I used the online form to try to fix them. They promised to reply by Oct 25th.
