Jenny17655 got a reaction from Celie in redacting "What's App" conversations
yeah don't send those spicy texts. Send video instead 😉. LOL no seriously with all of your face to face meeting evidence and the fact that you will accompany to the interview one or 2 pages of text from each month should be more than sufficient to show ongoing communication. They may not even look at the chat logs. Good Luck!

NO, he cannot use SSN to work. SSN is NOT a work permit. He will need to apply for his permit and it might arrive within 3 - 6 months.

Jenny17655 reacted to K1visaHopeful in How Important is Evidence of Bona Fide Marriage?
They are referring to the September 11th, 2018 change that USCIS implemented for illegal immigrants just filing ANY form to stay their removal proceedings. They would file for ANY immigration benefit that did not even apply to them thus tying up immigration because immigration legally had to send an RFE first instead of an NOID.
That has no context here because we are all entitled to Adjust our Status.
You cannot get an RFE for lack of evidence of bonafide marriage with your i485 application. If they could issue an RFE, the full list of evidence of marriage documents would have to be provided with the I485 instructions rather than with your interview letter.

Show me the RFEs and denials for marriage evidence please.....

Jenny17655 reacted to K1visaHopeful in How Important is Evidence of Bona Fide Marriage?
Whoa guys!!! The ONLY requirement for evidence of bonafide marriage to send with your AOS application is photocopies of your Certified Marriage Certificate.
Bonafide marriage evidence is NOT looked at or judged or anything before you get to the interview. You cannot get an RFE for it and EVERYONE gets an interview if they provided all of the REQUIRED documents (evidence of bonafide marriage is not required documents).
Stop telling ppl they MUST provide evidence with their AOS application. That's 100% FALSE!

I would advise you to wait, if you can, until you have strong documentation of fiscal ties, ie. bank accounts, lease, etc. The pictures are helpful, but the government definitely weighs legal obligations (taxes, banks, loans, utlity bills etc) more heavily, then comes sworn affidavits from family members, mail. In my opinion, it would be better to do the AOS later with a stronger application, of course that is if you still have time in your window.

You're missing your husband's proof of US citizenship or copy of his gc for his i864 in order to be your sponsor.

what was the 221g requesting? Usually when you submit the documents requestd on the 221g the embassy can continue processing your case.

Well that is a good sign. If they wanted to deny your visa they would have just given back your passport. I am not familiar with your particular embassy. Perhaps someone else could offer further advice. Good luck

You, the petitioner needs to fill that out and he needs to bring it to the interview. Make sure you meet the income requirements and send your last filed tax return. Also make sure you get a co sponso if you are close to the boarder line with income. Jamaica will require it in many cases

Get the hell out. Get away from her before she ends up making a false claim of abuse. Once she does that you are in a heap of trouble, subject to arrest, on-going harassment, etc.... Run and don't be alone with her at any time. She is setting you up.

Paypal isn't that hard to use. Is he completely averse to computers or something? Both the Paypal app AND the website allow you to send money to literally anyone. I use it to send money between my Canadian and American bank accounts all the time. Otherwise, wire transfer at the bank is the only option but those have a fee.

Both xe.com and ofx.com do transfers, as well as transferwise, otherwise he can go to his local bank and wire the money, though they'll probably charge a fee. He'll need all the information on the recipient's account (which you can send him).
If it's only a small amount (say $50), then he can easily buy USD as cash at the local bank and pop it in a birthday card.
