    Visa Denied

I love how you react to people telling you negative yet realistic outcomes. You seem genuine, at least on what you share here. But then again, as most of us know, they don't look too much into details, only the red flags if there are any and in your situation, there are. I suggest wait on it a while before applying again since my now husband did that and was denied twice. We applied for K1 and now we're 5 months married.
  2. You called USCIS when you did request your EAD to expedite correct? You received the email they sent and you sent your paperwork? If you did, there's no harm for you to call and ask USCIS directly. It's their job to help us out as long as we have the patience for it.
  3. Thank you! Yes it was a regular letter wit role title, summary, and pay. Your typical Job offer Good luck to you! 'Expediting because of job offer isn't an emergency.' - It really isn't. Some are fortunate, some are not.
  4. For the ATTN of: (insert the Team / Division #’s USCIS gave you) LAxxxx Division xxxx Team xxxxx Request Regarding: TAxxxxxxxxxxxxx (insert your i-765 case #) Dear USCIS Team, Please find attached requested proof of my active job offer to give weight to my request to expedite my i-765 Application for Employment document. I would very much appreciate the opportunity to expedite this case under financial hardship, which will allow me to commence this role and become an immediate tax-paying member of American society, and in doing so, alleviate the financial burden of single income on my spouse. Yours Sincerely, Insert Your Name and Signature Insert Your Address Here is the link that helped me: I agree. Thanks for clarification.
  5. Yes, we called USCIS. Yes Job Offer is enough. Once you received the email they sent, include: 1. Cover Letter 2. Job Offer 3. Copy of Email they sent Wait for about a week and hopefully you'll see on the site 'New Card is being Produced'.
  6. Literally same days only we were early 2 days Happy working?? LOL
  7. Yes, as soon as the EAD arrives he can start working. Tell the company your honest situation and they have to give you a job offer for you to send.
  8. THANKS!! YES, I DID RESEARCH HERE. THANKS TO EVERYONE BEFORE ME WHO SHARED THEIR EXPERIENCE I WAS THINKING WE WERE GONNA BE LUCKY WHEN IT COMES TO AOS. UNFORTUNATELY LIKE OUR K1 EXPERIENCE, WE WERE JUST 'OKAY' AND NOT FAST AT ALL SO AFTER THREE MONTHS MY HUSBAND STARTED GETTING BORED HENCE DECIDED IT'S TIME TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT INSTEAD OF WAITING FOR GC.
  9. October 2 - Arrived from Philippines to USA. October 12 - Wedding. October 15 - Sent App for I-485 & I-765. November 13 - Biometrics. Year 2019 January 7 - Called to request expedite. January 8 - Received email with necessary info. January 9 - Fax the Cover Letter, Job Letter, & copy of info they sent in the email January 16 - Got a notification. Site says 'New Card is being produced'. January 17 - Got a notification. Site says 'Case is approved'. January 22 - Received the EAD in the mail. It's pretty cool where they give you a tracking number and an ETA. More info here: https://marecaranne.blogspot.com/2019/01/ead-expedite.html
  10. Did you ever file to expedite your EAD?

  11. I added my husband to my account to make it a joint one - Bank of America without SSN in a branch. He applied for checking & savings account online with SSN in Discover (best checking/savings IMO).

K1 visa holder SS office refused to accept I-94

Hi OP. As the post above said, it's too late now as the her I-94 expires soon. I would've suggested going to other SS locations since my fiancé had no problem getting his SSN with he printed I-94.
  13. You don't really need to worry about that when applying for SSN. Just bring a copy of I-94 and the other requirements and you'll be fine. If you must know, I think it means that's the last day you can enter US with the visa?

    Contacting US embassy?

Since it's your first scheduled, they will let you reschedule it. Did your try to cancel your appointment? It happened to my fiancé and he just rescheduled for another time. If you're worried about the appoint number eing incorrect, the call center can fix it for you.

@kittyanne you have so much more to read on to have a peace of mind. After NOA2, you will wait another 2 weeks for the NVC to received our profile. After 2 weeks from your NOA2, call NVC and ask for you Case Number. Once you have the Case Number, do the Medical at St. Lukes. Also with the Case number, check everyday in CEAC site so you'll know when your case is in Transit. As per experience and stories here in VJ, case from NVC to USEM is sent in batches of two weeks. In CEAC, when it shows In Transit, wait at least 4 days for your physical case to arrive in Manila and ace the interview.
