Your timeline estimates a date of July 6, 2018 and July 11, 2018,  since you are over that, I would think it would be any day now, hoperfully.  The dates of course are just estimates based on everyone else that has the applied dates similar.

Since you were 7, it was not your fault to be illegal.  It is also not your fault that your dad filed for asylum and said he was from Guatamala. You just overstayed as an adult, got busted and deported.  If the 10 year ban is over, then it is not an automatic denial.  I would think that your passport shows those other locations, and that you did indeed return may give trust on a visa.    I can not comment though on if you need to apply for a pardon prior to the visa ap though.  Sorry..

Well there is the Pan-American Hwy but that is probably a two week trip, and could be more dangerous than flying, which as someone else pointed out,  It's the safest way to travel.  I don't mind flying, it's the 15 hours in-flight I had that was a pain.  Once in air, you can walk around have a few drinks, watch movies and videos of your choice.  Flying is about 7 hours or so,  and I see tickets for under $500 bucks, what a deal!   I can understand your anxieties for it, for some  it can be debilitating.  Question, have you EVER flown before?   Yes, you have to meet in person at least once.  Perhaps she could get a visa for Mexico, Tijuana or some other border town, then you could drive to meet there.    To get a visitors visa, she needs to have something stable to prove that she will not stay, like property, a great job or a business, or kids, etc.   And yes, someone also suggested a cruise,  then travel inland.

Nope. The I-134 signed for the K-1 visa is not enforceable. Only the I-864 (for an immigrant visa or AOS) is...and only after they get the green card.

I don't mean to be judgemental, but I'm shocked how quickly people fall in love and they are ready to commit to marriage o.O Especially after having a bad experience with scam and divorce.

This has been discussed here. It is not bad news. It is a fix. It gives adjudicators the authority to deny intentional incomplete cases as placeholders.

You ever go on a vacation at a nice beach resort and when you go to the pool or beach area there are a bunch of towels hanging on the chairs to "reserve" them when no one is actually ready to use them? This is what the new policy change is trying to prevent.

Seeing that how almost every category of immigration is experiencing longer than usual timelines, this may actually help.

Po box is good for mailing address.  I can't believe any building does not have a street address, however for the Apt,  Ste, Flr, those are ADDITIONAL address delegations.  I don't have any of those,  just write N/A on each of those three I I had done.    To get the address, bring up google maps and find that building, then click on street view and it will show the street and address.

As for being married,  it depends on which country the beneficiary is from.  In the Philippines, even if you were never married, you STILL need to get a "Certificate of Non Marriage" from the government.  (CENOMAR).  It is required by the US Embassy to process your I-129.  Your case may be different.  And generally, the US don't care if the petitioner has some sort of record, only the beneficiary.  Beneficiary will also need their government history of any criminal acts and even if none, you need the paperwork from that country.  All this paperwork will be needed for your interview, so make copies of everything for your 129.  Once the 129 is approved, then it's round up time for all the stuff before your physical and interview.  Best of luck!!

For those who actually do have status (or out of status while waiting),  please be aware of the 100 mile "Constitutional Free" border, where government has a way more easier time to dig in to your 4th Amendment (Which courts say does not apply within that 100 mile perimeter),  Also any other rights you may have can be trampled on.  Going in to the area you should be prepared with proper documentations.

I general, it is NOT allowed for them to discriminate on that basis. However, there are certain exceptions for certain types of work or employers...I'm not sure if this applies to certain positions in the financial industry, sorry.

Well, common sense - Legal residents of the US, need to keep their legal residency in the US...

If someone use their green card to "live" in the US only for few months every year, there is a BIG chance that eventually immigration officers will question that person and they will face the risk of loosing the green card.

If someone knows they will not live permanently in the US, then IMO they should NOT bother with acquiring green card.

I had the same concerns when I traveled to south Texas earlier this year (my husband is Algerian). We had filed for AOS and his I 94 had expired. I took copies of all the NOAs and marriage certificate “just in case” (actually I keep a copy in the car “just in case”). We didn’t have any issues but the peace of mind from being prepared is priceless.
    Enjoy your travels!

At some point, perhaps during her interview process,  The may look at how well the couple can converse and communicate.  And as others say,  they look at your "gross income".  It is a long process, months and months, and a LOT of money for the K1,  help with her expenses for travel to get her physical, the childs physical,  visas, interviews,  etc.. Then, the wedding,  then filing for things like Advance parole,  Green card,  EAD,  etc.. A long road.    As for work,   I don't know about how it is in Min,  but in places where there are casinos, (Nevada),  most have housekeeping staff who do not speak a lick of English.  Good luck on your journey, and keep in mind,  BE TRUTHFUL in any forms you complete for the K1.  You may also look in to the CR1 which takes a bit longer but half the price.   You go down there, get married, and file to bring your wife and child back.  In the meantime, work to get your bills down, etc..

It says "one of the following"... if you have a copy of what you sent,  check the revision date, you may have filled out and submitted one that expired.  From what I read, they can be sticklers on tossing the whole thing because the form expired.

How does your cousin plan on paying for the delivery?  Does she realize how much it will cost?

If she does not pay, then she is likely to be considered a public charge which may mean she will not get an immigration visa.  The US is not keen on giving immigrant visas to foreigners who come and use our hospitals and leave US taxpayers with the bill.

In any business, regardless of organization,  if you claim a net income for business, after deducting expenses, the irs really does not care what you claim as "income", since if you claim you netted x-amount, and pay tax on that amount, they are happy.  However, it is the deductions that they are more concerned about.  IE, one claims 100K gross income, and 90K deductions, and then claim 10K income, they want to know what the 90K was from.  But in a nutshell,  if he makes widgets in the garage, and sells them at a swap meet, and actually claims the cash as income, then only the bottom line on the 1040 is all he can use as "listed income".  I mean, who in their right mind would claim they made 50K, and pay tax on that, if they really didn't make that much?.  The IRS will accept what you say you made if it is actually honest.  They rarely ask to prove you made "that much", and only to prove you made "that little" of income.    Sorry for the long answer.  I type as fast as I talk! LOL
