I'm confused what you said. I didn't know when you are undocumented you could adjust status.
Also what happened st interview in January?
He interviewed back in his country correct.
Ypu really need a good lawyer.
 

Really depends on the case and attorney since each immigration lawyer sometimes specialises in different fields like my last attorney who mostly did waivers even got mine approved , doubt anyone will give you an answer on price wise. Hopefully someone will advise you  on attorney in your area

No I'm actually optimistic, I emailed them 3 times no answer, called Em few times and same answer it's processing and we can't view the Consular files so you have to wait until they contact you.asked if they needed anything they said if they did they would have asked after interview or contacted me so I'll just wait for now and hopefully soon for all of us. 

Been waiting so far 6weeks by end of this week.  Still on ready status and last update was yesterday. 

Just an update.  The lase week, it our case was updated a few times, but still showed Ready.  Our case finally went into Received and Issued on the same day today (July 1).  It took 105 days from the interview date for the administrative processing to finish and they never asked for any additional information.  I'm thankful it didn't take longer as some of the cases I've read about and hope others won't have to wait as long.  Hopefully it won't take long before she gets her passport in the mail.  Thanks to everyone for their responses.

You may have entered legally, but since you are now in overstay, you are in the country illegally now (too).
 
I sincerely hope that you will have a smooth exit, it is too bad that this has probably ruined your chances of going back to the US any time soon, especially with having your mother there. 
 
The majority of the people on this forum have had to deal (and are dealing) with the hardship of complying with the restrictions of visiting or immigrating (to) the US, myself included, and it is always tough to read stories or questions from people that are not taking the rules and restrictions seriously. This is why your question triggers emotions here.. 

Overstayed 2 times???? You will likely encounter no problems leaving...Unfortunately, imo, people do not process through immigration when leaving. ....Having said that, you are the reason people have problems getting visitor visas to the US.......that is a big issue for legal permanent residents whose families are denied the opportunity to visit here.  Your B2 visa is now revoked........I doubt you will be back any time soon.

Hi. Even if you were interviewed together it doesn't mean that they will treat your cases as one. It will still be processed separately. AP can take several days, weeks, or even months. No one can say when it'll come. Just be patient. Best of luck!

got my visa we jsut check it today and just realize that every 14days day update after they change it to Non Immigrant.

Hello everyone finally my wait is over for my 221g today after 1 month 19 days of my interview and 1 month 10 days after i submitted my documents today the status on ceac website changed to issued. I hope all of you soon receive a similar news regarding the same.. it was a long journey but one worth it.. also I would like to thank all the members who gave me support and courage in this time

affidavits carry a very negligible amount of weight. Your attorney is not very knowledgeable if they are saying this carries weight.
 
you do not have to have a SS or ITIN for many many documents that DO carry weight. Property ownership (with no loan attached), Wills, power of attorney, some credit cards, some bank accounts, etc. my husband was on many  of these things before we were even married.
 
You will also have to overcome the 10 year ban and make sure those hospital bills were PAID.
 
Why dont you MEET her first (sigh.....) , MEET her SEVERAL TIMES (sigh.....), get to know her in person and in real life (not in vacation scenarios), and THEN consider your future together and what your options are.

You might need an attorney before she becomes an attorney. Seriously tho, a 10 year ban and she has already become a public charge on an earlier visit.

Not necessarily that after ready the visa will be issued soon,  I have been on ready status for 4 weeks, case updates at least twice a week,  it was AP first week then after ready so total 5 weeks so far, called them every week with same answer that if they needed any extra papers they would have contacted me and that I have to wait.  
 
Hope you guys will get something sooner but it's always better to be realistic. 

It is filled by a US citizen hopefully  shouldn't take long.

Thank you all for your responses. My daughter got her visa after 85 days in AP. She already came to US and now we just submitted her i-485, i-765 and i-131 forms.

All you can do is wait for their decision. There is no defined time for AP sadly.

Honestly every case is different and when I was waiting on mine it took a while, I don't want to put your hopes up cause it's not fair, it's always annoying to say this but you just have to be patient and wait 

My ds 260 never said accepted just went to complete after I paid all the fees.even until now says complete and now I'm still waiting on my visa to arrive. 

Of course a lawyer site would tell you, for $20000.00 we will make you an instant citizen. After you give them the money, they will tell you, sorry it did not work. Lawyers and Doctors are the only ones getting always payed. No matter the outcome. Go argue with Costumes, Immigration, or Border Patrol and see where it will get you.
