If a religion tells a grown woman to ask for permission before she travels, I'd tell her to quit that cult.

Yes I do have AP. But I believe it becomes invalid as soon as the green card is approved?
Okay I guess I'll just go down there on Wednesday morning if i don't have it yet and hope that someone is nice enough to give me a stamp lol
I was in the same situation. My green card was approved and mailed to me when I was travelling abroad in Europe.
I boarded the plane with my AP, no question asked at the airport, then upon arrival, I informed the immigration officer my green card was approved and mailed to me when I was abroad. The officer sent me to secondary, I waited for like 15 mins, another officer came back with my passport, stamped and noted with "ARC" and told me I am ready to go.
This was 2014, and POE was Boston.

Hello,
I mailed my i129f packet yesterday and am worrying about my passport picture. Wanted to ask for yalls opinion as to whether you think it will be rejected due to the shadow. I used the state departments crop tool so I know it's centered and good in that respect, but the shadow worries me.
Thanks in advance!
I think you are just phishing for compliment. it is good.

In the future give the member the benefit of the doubt. You additional comments added no value to the post for me and future readers
so why would you think it is ok to pay a Filipino minimum wage with room and board? Sounds like modern day slavery to me.

Hi,
My husband is a USC and I'm British. We have 2 children that are both American citizens by default from their dad. They both hold American passports and social security numbers.
My husband filed a petition for me in December 2018, and we have been given a 4 March priority date. I'm not allowed to travel to USA until it's complete and the children are with me in the UK... both 2 and under.
My daughter can't access her doctor in nyc for her her illness and my son is due to start school in September. Can we apply to have our petition expedited and what's the likelihood it will be approved?
no ground to expedite here.
There are doctors in the UK and kids less than 2 years old do not start school.

Thanks @SusieQQQ for your quick response.
1. All my emails accompany my case number and in some cases my passport number and that of my dependents.
2. There is no 'direct phone number' to the consulate. The available phone numbers goes to ustraveldocs(an agency that processes usually non-immigrant visa appointments). That agency does not sit at the consulate, I believe it is offshore. They will usually take my message and tell me they will follow-up. Its been just that and no feedback.
3. After my interview I was given a collections instruction sheet to register with DHL for pick-up, I have been to DHL severally even though they are to send sms but there is no record of my passport ever being delivered there. Indeed, if my passport was ready for pick-up, the ustraveldocs agency would have been able to give me update when I call.
It's disappointing as it is frustrating. I did not expect the USA consulate have such low standard of client relations or a courtesy of care to its clients. I have kids involved and to think that they can keep my passport when they are not ready to issue the visas is the lowest point of thought I could ever have of them.
Be prepared to deal with US bureaucracy

This is a total digression from the original topic but...
As with many grad programs, it depends on the circumstance. If one gets into a top MBA program, it certainly isn't worthless. Unless things have DRASTICALLY changed in the past few years, a Harvard/Stanford/Wharton (and probably UCLA too) MBA grad is going to get a job paying 6 figures if they put just a little effort into their job search. And as yourself noted, having deep specialty knowledge is useful. There are plenty of ways to have that knowledge other than an advanced degree.
(And no, I don't have a MBA. Just know a fair number who have one).
You might be a CEO of some company but you have no idea what you are talking about
Edit: I agree with usumbsow

i'd say your chance of getting a visa is near 0.
I'd start looking for employment in India.
If for whatever reason you must live in a different country, look Australia, NZ, Singapore, Canada, UAE...

First of all, I am not trying to sound negative.
Is this a cultural thing or what? I've seen quite a few people from the Philippines asking to adopt the niece of nephew.
What is the reason for adoption though? I'd strongly advise against it if it is solely for immigration purposes. I don't know how old is your niece, but just think about the amount of emotional impact it'll have on the child.

TSA doesn't care.
You are required to leave the country with your US passport.

I am gay so my first marriage was to another male (started dating in 2011 married in 2014 and divorced in 2017) and he lived in Australia. My fiancé is from the United Kingdom (England), just got back home from seeing him last week.
What's wrong with cute American guys? I am proposing "Buy American, Hire American and Marry an American!"
Just kidding, you'll be totally fine! Congrats!

more seriously, I hope American girls aren’t as superficial as you’ve just implied they are.
Judging by UK flag I guessed not but possibility he was born in eligible country I suppose
so if a gentleman gave a compliment a lady, he would be considered "having a good taste"
and when a lady does just the same, she is all superficial?
it's almost 2019!

Hi,
I am a US citizen and I would like to petition my mom and my daughter.
My situation is a little bit complicated.
I am US citizen and married. My daughter is in the Philippines. She is currently using my maiden name (i am separated from his father and the father's name is not on the birth certificate). She was born after I became US citizen. We would like to change her surname into my married name. Shall we change it while she is in the Philippines or shall we use my maiden name?!
Please advise!
most likely, your daughter is already a US citizen. You can apply for a US passport for her.
Doesn't matter where you change the name.

I had hoped to one day marry her and live in the USA. I am now at a crossroads where I do not have a university degree and no specialised profession, but it is my biggest dream to live in the USA.
I am still young however, and I would like to work towards one day being able to live and work in the country by my own doing. Is there any advice you can provide me to help towards my long term goal? I know this will not be achieved overnight.
Thanks in advance!
your best option is to work on your degree and your abs.
Oxbridge degree+ 6 packs + British accent =killer combo for American girls.
Just saying...

sorry to hear this. but think positive,
US citizens do not need a visa to visit Ukraine, perhaps you can fly there to meet her?
all the best.

1) Abuse
2) Bona fide marriage
While having a child with somebody else while married is by no means a bar for showing #2, I do think it would have some impact on the case. If there is sufficient evidence of a bona fide relationship, the petition can be approved regardless of any children.
Best wishes.
I concur.
Although VAWA claims with USCIS is almost , like Mazie Hirono puts it: When a woman accuse you something, just believe her! Perhaps you should speak to a lawyer, you do have a complicated case.
a side note:
You said you aren't even sure if the second guy you had one-time sex is the baby father, lady, please use protection for your own sake!
