Hi August 2022 Filers,

Hope you all are doing good. It is hot out here in Texas. I will be sending my packet on or during second week of August this year. I wanted to touch base on what are some of the important documents that you have gathered, that we must include in our I-751 packet?

Similarly, I will be sending my packet from Dallas, TX. I was wondering which service center my packet is most likely to land into?

Appreciate your input,

Thanks!

@bradoony you might want to remove the full names you've included above. Too much identifying info.

I'm confused by this:

Copy of Marriage Certificate, Married on 05/09/2020 in USA

Copy of Marriage Certificate, Married on 08/27/2022 in Bulgaria

How/why do you have 2 marriages and 2 marriage certificates? Is the second just an unofficial thing? If so, I would not use the words "marriage certificate" for that second one...

We got married first in USA and when I received my GC we went in my country and we did another wedding/marriage in the church so its marriage certificate from another country. I already sent it like this and I though is really strong evidence because we put money into a wedding with my family oversea.

@bradoony it is confusing to say the least. Normally, a couple have an official ceremony once which results in marriage certificate. You can do religious ceremony / celebration / reception in any other country, but you already are legally married and should not receive any more marriage certificates. Did you have to specify your marital status when completing paperwork in Bulgaria???

Hi. It is marriage certificate from church. I am was confused how to name it but my husband proof read the whole thing and said it all looks good.... Hope they do not say anything about it. Also in my country, i can ether register my marriage from here or have another one because they do not consider this one here in Bulgaria unless has apostle, translation etc

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
