  1. My fiance and I are readying to submit our 129F and all the other stuff that goes along with the first step in the K-1 visa. My fiance (the American petitioner) lives near Bellingham, WA. I am a Canadian living in Surrey, BC. I was looking into processing times and it seems that the California Service Center (CSC) is currently processing K-1 visas faster than the Texas Service Center. The 129-F form instructs that we should send it to Texas, yet CSC is listed as processing K-1 visas. CSC is showing a processing time frame of 5 months. Whereas the TSC is showing that it is having a processing delay on K-1 visas and the filing date of the last 129F was December 21, 2014. Can we send our 129F application to the CSC? Would it be beneficial and is it possible it could help our application be processed faster? Or is it best to send it to the TSC as the 129F instructs? Please advise
  2. I hate USPS! My Green card was shipped on the 9th of this month. I was supposed to receive it on Feb the 12th. It went all over the state of Ohio and then it was in transit for 6 days in row, then USPS told me they lost track of it. The tracking number said it left USPS distribution center Cleveland OH and Delivered BUT NOT TO ME, but to Lee's Summit, MO USCIS production facility!! I got the tracking number from informed delivery, so I know that my address is correct on the package no doubt about it. Why they did not deliver it? I don't know.. USPS suck, they do not reply to my calls, nor my emails. Basically they said "F Off" throughout this waiting period!! Now, it's March 8th and nothing from USCIS, nor USPS informed Delivery. I filed a service request to have my card reshipped on the 27th of Feb, and immediately got a response that they will reship it. Since then, not a single word. I also verified the address in file and it is correct. Anybody went through this and have an estimated time on how much it should take before it's reshipped? I am traveling and to be honest I don't want to leave with i-551 stamp. I heard that you might not be able to board with it!! Please let me know, Thanks!
  3. I live in Maryland, so according to USCIS my i-129f should be processed by Nebraska Service Center. Today I've got pleasant news in a form of the NOA1 and unpleasant ones that my case will be processed by slower California Service Center (WAC-xxxxxxxxx receipt number). Is it a mistake on the part of USCIS, or is it something they're doing routinely? Thanks, Viktor
  4. Since the previous thread got too big and I didn't see another thread I thought I would start one! Our packet was sent to Potomac. Our NOA1 was received March 12th.
  5. Please let me know if it is possible for me to change the service center for my case. I have already submitted to one of case center previously.
  6. What are all the fees needed to be paid after I-130 approval for child of U.S citizen mother under 21 (one boy is 14 and another is 17). I haven't been approved yet, but I want to prepare financially. I've only just started, application was sent to Potamac service center, although I'm not sure if that center is slow or not for IR-2 ; they received it on Feb 6th (don't have physical NOA1, but I did call and they gave me the receipt numbers that says received on feb 6th so that's probably my PD)
  7. What is the fastest service center for I-130 for U.S citizens. I know there are many factors that go into it, everyone's process is different but I'm wondering which service center is most efficient and fastest out of curiosity?
