We see a status update as of Oct 28 that my wife’s  biometrics was scheduled. We haven’t received the mail yet. My wife had her biometrics for I-751 in Nov 21. She immigrated through consular processing and not adjustment of status. From my experience, if one has adjusted status and has had an interview with USCIS, then you have a big chance of I-751 interview waiver provided you have submitted solid proof of bonafide marriage. If one has immigrated through Consular processing i.e. the interview was conducted by DOS and one has not had an interview in the US, then in most cases, an I-751 interview will be scheduled. The same may be true for biometrics.

We received the biometrics for N400 in the mail. The biometrics appointment is Nov 16, 2022.

i was excited when it was 11 months. then 13 months.. and now 15.5.. it's gonna be nextyear.. :(

I'm convinced the service centers are now punting most of the I751s and letting people get frustrated so they submit the N400 and letting the field offices handle them.

Congrats.  In our case, it took less than a week for a tracking number to show up in the case status.

You will know if the card is coming to your new address if you have usps informed delivery set up at your new address and deleted from your old address.  Then if usps sends you an email or text about your green card through informed delivery the card is likely coming to you at your new address.

Finally, there is an update on my case today! Case status changed to New Card Is Being Produced. Took them exactly 12.5 months as per the current WAC case processing time posted on USCIS. I am excited and relieved! Glad I held off on filing the N-400, feeling that it would have delayed things a bit. Anyway, now I have to wait until I receive the card in my hand. I filed AR-11 for address change earlier this year. Let's see if USCIS sends the card to the right address. USPS messed up the mail delivery last time and returned the card to USCIS. Took me another 3 months to get  USCIS to resend it. I'll watch my mailbox like a hawk.

Congratulations!

Thank you! We did update Informed delivery to our new address. I'll wait for the tracking number. Approval notice was sent today.

I am also in DC and got assigned to Potomac :(

BUT - it does look like filing N400 for I751s assigned to Potomac shakes the whole thing loose within 4-6 months.

Perhaps, but DC is not a great office for processing N400's either. That being said EAD's and I485's seem to be getting processed way faster than previously, maybe USCIS will start with I751's too .
