is it crazy to submit costco receipts along with the copy of joint membership cards and highlight the card number?

as a proof that we actually use this membership?

for bonafide evidence?

If that's the best you can come up with then it is crazy. What else do you have?

a lot of things, like

- quarterly joint bank account statements for the last 2 years (that's around 100 pages, idk if i should only send the front pages)

- joint lease agreement

- both names on the car insurance

- petitioner's 401k listing beneficiary as the beneficiary

- health insurance w both our names

- dental/vision insurance w both our names

- screenshot of mychart.org listing petitioner as an emergency contact for the beneficiary

- state ID's listing our home address

and

- copy of costco membership cards

- a bunch of photos

I was just wondering if I should add a receipt or two to the copy of costco cards..

By the time of the interview you'll bring another folder with evidence from the time between now and the interview. Add copys of the cards then if you want to but for the application you really have more than enough good stuff.

Skip the.Costco membership evidence.  Costco only cares that add-on members are in the same house/address.  Theoretically even roommates can be added.  Unlike a credit card or debit card, thete is no financial responsibility to the primary costco card holder if the secondary person uses it - that secondary person uses cash or their own visa card to make purchases.

We sent copies of our Costco membership cards and the renewal notices showing both our names. I put it in the far back of the package behind all the good evidence. Certainly doesn't hurt to add simple stuff like that.

I'd send a copy of the cards not so much receipts. To those saying not to send copies of the cards, in my humble opinion, I'd rather send in too much evidence than not enough and risk a RFE. My husband has been a citizen for several years now and never at any point during the entire process from the original I-130 petition to removing conditions all the way up to and including naturalization, did we or he ever receive any type of RFE and we had several so-called "red flags", including the fact that I'm 21 years older than he is.

Agree, I'm a citizen myself and have been through the entire immigration journey from the very first petition and visa, doing it all myself, and never received an RFE. I too am a firm believer in sending a lot rather than too little. There's no way either of us can possibly know what IO will pick up our case and if this particular IO is fine with less evidence, so why take the chance. Rather send more.
