Same thing happened to myself. They sent this reminder letter to my old address since they are really bad at updating addresses, but I am not worried. I don't think they will sent notification to old address because you filed I-751 with new address. It seems to me all Uscis cares about the addresses in the application, and they don;t care address updates other than that. It should be fine, don't worry.

question about the addresses, I'm moving out of my rental place and will permanently move to another state during the summer, and I'm worried that even if I change my address on the USCIS website, they're still going to send letters to my old address. Apart from telling USPS to forward my stuff to my new address, anything else I can do to prevent that?

🇺🇸 N-400 Info for Taiwan 🇹🇼
A USA citizenship applicant who was born in Taiwan may indicate Taiwan as the country of birth on their Form N-400 if he or she shows supporting evidence. Such applicants’ Certificates of Citizenship are issued showing Taiwan as country of birth. USCIS does not issue certificates showing “Taiwan, PRC,” “Taiwan, China,” “Taiwan, Republic of China,” or “Taiwan, ROC.” People’s Republic of China (PRC) is the country name used for applicants born in the PRC. (see USCIS reference: part K chapter 2 footnote 4)

I really suffered from Uscis's messing up this address change stuff during my Aos... Anyways.. Make sure you fill out AR-11 online, and make sure you indicate you have a pending case, then make sure to save confirmation email/pdf. If you have a sponsor, then your sponsor will need to fill out I-865 but it is paper filed, not online. Save these confirmations, and after doing ar-11, call/chat w/uscis like a week or so later to make sure it has gone thru. Other than that, there is nothing you can do, and you may end up getting mails to your old address. My aos interview was even scheduled to my old address even though i did all the things i mentioned above. Thanks to congressman, they expedited since it was uscis error, and they mailed my file directly from one local office to the other one without going to NBC. If congressman wasn't there for me, we would probably fly from DC to CA and would still end up not having interview since we weren't residing there anymore. Considering i already waited like 1.75 years to get that interview, it was so close to become a nightmare for me. So, long story short, be careful and always keep an eye on it!

So we sent my wife’s I-751 back on February 11 and it was received the next day on February 12. After a month and some days we hadn’t gotten anything back, so I called USCIS a couple days ago. They said because I sent it to Phoenix and it was a lockbox, that I should wait 60 days instead of 30. I’m reading everyone’s post here saying that their check has finally been cashed in (I used a money order instead of a check). Did I send it to the correct place, or is there anything I did wrong?

UPDATE FOR ME AS WELL:

CASE RECEIVED: 02/10

CHECK WAS CASHED ON 02/19

TEXT MESSAGE ON 03/22

LETTER COMING IN THE MAIL TODAY

POTOMAC SERVICE CENTER

Glad you posted this. I also just saw that a letter is coming in the mail and can see it has a notice date of 3/18. Our case was received on 2/11. Our check was withdrawn this morning 3/22 at 3am, so that probably means they deposited it 3/18 or 3/19. For some reason my bank doesn't show pending checks. Hopefully it's the 18-month extension, which is odd that they'd send it before the funds cleared.

Seeing all these wonderful updates got me hopeful that I'd see something in the mail today.  Alas, nope!  I called the bank on Friday to see if the MO cleared, nope.  Crazy how I'm in such a hurry to sit and wait for months.  LOL

Anyways, I'm so happy for those of you who are seeing confirmation of movement on your cases!  Woohoo!

I can now finally fill this out:

ELIGIBLE TO FILE: FEB 7

I751 PACKAGE SENT: FEB 9

I751 PACKAGE RECEIVED: FEB 11

NOTICE DATE: FEB 18

SERVICE CENTER: LIN (Nebraska)

Not sure when the check was actually cashed - the funds were withdrawn MAR 22 and the notice date is MAR 18 so probably MAR 17 or 18.

Looks like I'm in for a really long wait, LIN Nebraska Service Center is showing 11-26.5 months for I-751 processing 😰

My wife never got the text message.

Best of luck to everyone, hopefully the approvals start coming soon 😀
