Anomalies like this make me wonder if these are cases of people with employee connections within the USCIS. Probably illegal to cherry-pick and resolve a case but can't think of any other reason! 🤣

I do the same about once a week for our service center. I was just telling my husband about it. I see some getting their 10 years GC approval that sent their petition in October 2020 but then I see others that are just now getting their approvals that sent theirs in in 2019. There is literally no consistency and it drives anxious people like me bonkers.

I told him there's no telling how they choose because clearly it isn't by order haha. I just tell myself that if any got chosen it would be ours because I'm so precise and detailed with everything I send. (wishful thinking).

Convenience fee I bet... Ha. Reminds me of when you get charged more when you buy tickets online vs in person. At least you got it waived, yay!

Even though they are re using previously captured info, they still need to run background checks on that info, it COST money to do that. How are they gonna pay for that if they returned the money back to you?

Here is a good resource for individuals whose case is being handled out of YSC. Non transfers only.  Looks like they are just approving individuals from 2019. Ugh :(

Hello group!

Im just curious, I've been reading about the ones who have gotten MSC case #'s have been still waiting to get Biometrics letter.

I mailed my Husband's packet on 2.12, it was received on 2.16 and NOA letter received around 3.19. Ever since that day we have been waiting to get a letter about biometrics but nothing yet.

Do any of you happen to know how long it will take for this office to send such letter?

I'm trying not to get anxious here! lol

Both MSC and WAC filers need to wait for a long time unfortunately compared to other service centers. As a WAC filer, i am expecting to hear for biometrics around 6 months after case is received. It was received on 02.10, so i guess it would be ~August, MSC looks around same to me when i read other threads. Just don't get concerned by looking other people's moving cases, they are mostly from SRC, which is super fast and some from LIN ;)

I just checked the January filers and it looks like there has been multiple people who have got approvals and green cards already. Pretty much all of them were SRC. Hopefully things start moving forward for some of us
