And not all of those countries are Muslim countries. I don't think it's fair to say that their names add to risk of terrorism and fraud. Fair enough if their systems itself are flawed or corrupt but religions do not play a part in this.

Keep hopeful OP. It would help immensely if you filled out your timetable so you can see how others that are similar to your situation are doing and vice versa. I've had people file after me that have already been approved etc. It's not always fair but with each passing day, it's a day closer to your loved one.🤞

I specifically said it’s not the Muslim religion that plays a part of it. But it would be helpful if OP completed their timeline for more accurate help.

you were talking about timeline we already fill it up it's been 4 months now even vj is tired to predict vj stopped giving perdition dates

The timeline they are referring to is on this site that you fill out.  Look at the upper right hand corner where your screen name is and hit the little arrow.  Under My Timeline you will fill that out.

Has nothing to do with Muslim countries, it has to do with the government of the country. In Pakistan you can purchase US passports that are almost perfect. In colombia there is a street in Cali, where you can get US dollars printed.

attesting documents or whatever they are doing no issue then can do that and one day

Are you under the impression that they have only your case to work on? With the amount of work required to complete the immigration process, it should take us all about 2 weeks. Unfortunately that is not reality. Processing the paperwork takes manpower and it takes time. Sometimes when I go to the store I end up waiting in line for 15 minutes just to pay, even though paying only took 30 seconds.

It has nothing to do with Country, Muslims or Christians.

I do see people are getting approved with cr1 visa in just 9 months from Pakistan and some of the cr1  visa from Pakistan taking more than two years.

It only depends on your case situation and security checks

Huge generalisation regarding terrorist attacks.... 🙄

Back to the point in hand- some countries require more vetting due to high risk of fraud and also poor record keeping as mentioned numerous times.

If you read the post you're quoting, it is simply pointing out the connection between fraudulent documents and terrorist attacks.

Look at the spouse timelines for Pakistan:

https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?op6=All&op66=All&op7=Pakistan&op1=3&op2=&dfile=No&op3=5&op4=1&op5=5%2C6%2C8%2C10%2C11%2C13%2C14%2C15%2C16%2C17%2C18%2C20%2C21%2C22%2C25%2C26%2C27%2C28%2C108%2C110%2C111%2C208%2C210%2C211&cfl=0

Months it took for the I-130 approval for the latest 9 members who've updated their profiles:

9, 8, 10, 12, 6, 6, 4, 9, 12

So if your case is at 10 months, you're doing ok. Have some patience. It's free! : )

you need to do the timeline and ID country

then hit the word portal above and check the embassy reviews

I am married to a muslim and he is here and has his citizenship but it took us a long time for his visa (being our age difference and not the religion)

Our CR1 case was 10 months in Nebraska office and then transferred to Missouri (for faster processing/letter said????) another 5 months there

When you come from a high fraud country as defined on below site,  you can expect to go thru a long process for a visa

https://mypathtocitizenship.com/which-countries-are-on-the-uscis-high-fraud-list/

as said by another VJ member

this is not fast'

this is not easy

this is not cheap

you can also expect a long AP after your interview for the security checks so don't think that is about religion either

am working in Dubai here people are facing same issue like Pakistanies let me tell u Dubai is a world safest place Dubai has world strongest and best documentation systems why they are taking so long for emirati citizens?  the answer is Islam

the difference is Dubai is now a world leader in business and the citizens are doing a lot of travel for work

This leads to a longer time for security checks on UAE citizens because of the travel

anytime there is extended travel,  lots of social media,  multiple cell phones (like a business and personal one),  you are going to see extended security checking

you are also from a country that uses the same name over and over which makes it hard and even though the USCIS stage is about the USC and proper paperwork,  they search the system for names the same as yours (i say this as years ago a man from India had that issue and posted it here)
