he is a moron. my wife works in a nursing home. every employee got tested last week... 2 positive, both were asymptomatic. this is why masks should be mandatory. they have switched from surgical masks and gloves to n95 masks and goggles. she is also required to wear mask when we go anywhere outside of work regardless of whether that idiot abbot requires them or not. fortunately he has required them for now and is letting local jurisdictions set penalties if they feel it is necessary.

side note, because of non mask wearing ignorant scumbags, my best friend is dying of covid. he has been very vigilant about only going out when necessary and wears a mask at all times. he is also immunocompromised. so any dirtbags want to pawn their ignorant freedumb but mah rahts garbage can suck on a tailpipe.

Sorry to hear about your friend suffering, but are you sure you know how/where he caught the covid, exactly?

Questions remain over labs reporting 100% positive cases

More than 450 labs reported 100% positivity in the state's latest report; the FL Dept. of Health says it's partly to blame

Well, my first cousin died from Covid19 that he contracted in a care facility due to the stupid policies of our Governor here in MI.  All of them are idiots, but what else is new.

308 more hospital beds sounds great, cept one little problem. around 940 have died since the 19th.  So we have had  a net loss of about 632 beds

Another great article with some good take aways.

Studies suggest that, for the general public, physical distancing and masking really do work. A review of the research published in The Lancet found that “evidence shows that physical distancing of more than 1 m is highly effective and that face masks are associated with protection, even in non-health-care setting

The percentage of positive tests over the previous week hit nearly 19 percent, which is almost four times the recommended maximum of 5 percent. The high rate — an indicator of how widespread infection is, as well as whether an area is conducting enough testing — suggests Florida still doesn’t have enough testing to match its Covid-19 outbreak. As bad as things are in Florida, the state is likely undercounting the number of cases.

More than 135 have died since the 19th.  That makes no sense, especially when you said 940 have died?  I'm confused.

308 more beds have nothing to do with deaths nor covid.  Just means that 308 bed were added in the past 5 days.

Not sure what your source is for the 940 number, but going thru the https://floridahealthcovid19.gov above takes you to the dashboard located here - https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/96dd742462124fa0b38ddedb9b25e429 which shows 257.

Florida now has more Covid-19 cases than any other state. Here’s what went wrong.

I wonder what "more" means in their article?  Give it a few more days, and the article may be accurate.

We can agree you are confused. So 257 have died in FLA 19-24 July..  There have be 309 in just the last two days.  173 yesterday and 136 today.

Its really not that hard. If someone days in most cases it frees up a hospital bed

You swung and missed again. the article said Fla had more cases than any other state. It didn't say deaths. Move your red highlighter over 1 column and get back with me on the accuracy of the article. Pulling from the very data you posted Fla has 355,939 ACTIVE CASES. California HAS 296,925. i know my you think my Maff skils are bad but I do think 355,939>296,925
