OMG, if only you would read..

I have fulfilled that purpose and submitted a joint sponsor and they have accepted that..
Kindly read my question again.
It's not up to to say who gets a visa or not without understanding my question..

My husband and I were living together and they would not let him go with me when I had to be evacuated even though we paid to get a Visa they still denied. We have documents backing up my humanitarian Aid Medical reason for him to be my caretaker and be with me by my side at all times yet after applying a second time with all the evidence they still yet to have given him a Visa and he is past his interview and they've accepted our documents. Even though we were are married and spousal visas are supposed to be the easiest to get we are now going over a year and a half and I am about to have another surgery and I need him here he's the only one I can rely on. The day he had his interview that week was when they did the covid-19. There's no reason for them to hold him he's a good Christian man. so if there is an emergency Visa I would like to know what it is to because apparently a Visa under humanitarian Aid is not important enough. I have lost everything and we've spent tons more money in both countries because they're keeping us apart. We're struggling to prosper during this time and we've done wonderfully to keep our heads above water. It's time for them to let us be reunited and start working on the success of our marriage under the trying times that we are all facing. We're husband and wife that should mean something.

This is almost my case with my wife...it seems that they are deliberately keeping couples with good intentions apart..

It's depressing.

It is helpful if you post the question in the correct forum.   Based on your headline it looks like you are wanting and emergency visa.   No, you want to expedite the at the consulate.   You are way past the USCIS stage.  You don't bother to provide in your post or in your profile a key bit on info - you are from Nigeria.  Don't expect to have other members do research about your background to help you out.  Nigeria needed to have a front loaded bullet proof petition.

Your petitioner does not appear to be actively participating in the process.   She provides the "minimum" info for the I-864; she isn't in country with you for interview; she isn't active here; she hasn't provided documentation to you or the consulate about the medical necessity of you being in the US; and she has done nothing to escalate with thru a congressman.

Get the documentation.  Get her to contact the consulate involved. Get a congressman involved.   If you need a new interview be humble.  The CO will need to recommend you for a waiver.

Thank you.. This is so helpful.

I’m confused did you have your interview and he was denied? If so I don’t believe there is an expedite request.

It’s confusing to read but from other posts I believe her husband is in AP currently so there’s no way to expedite anything.

That is not an excuse for the person who has the case to hold it , these are people's lives they don't last forever and human rights should be implemented.

People on this site have been very insensitive lately..

Why didn't your spouse not move to you? why bother waiting to naturalize?

Would you want her to forget about her pending surgery and try to get across border in this pandemic?

OMG

Are you asking me or repeating my question? I ca brill you why my spouse didn’t move to me - he (USC) has a criminal record that makes him ineligible for any sort of visa for the UK, even to visit. And the UK, unlike the US, has no waiver procedure. You at least have the option of applying for a waiver if you are ineligible for a US visa.

You complained that the system appears to be forcing you two to be apart. I offered a viable alternative. Maybe after your wife has the surgery and rev overs you can investigate that option. After all, if you are just two regular people who are just crazy in love then what does the location matter? You won’t be getting a visa for the US any time soon so now is maybe the time to research your alternatives.

But if you are just going to mock and criticize those who are trying to help and throw puerile comments around, don’t be surprised if people are reluctant to help.

The answer to your original question “how can I get an emergency visa?” is very simple in your case: you can’t get ANY immigrant visa at the moment, as a Nigerian. So, if you need to urgently be with your wife, you have to consider other options. The sooner you realise that, the sooner you can work on those options.

Every case has variables the point is the case is still on hold and a visa is to be given when and if they decide. It's sitting on the desk or should I say computer waiting. Their is no reason for denial. That is the point.

The OP is from Nigeria and there is currently an EO which blocks the consulates from issuing any immigrant visas for Nigerians (with one very small exception that doesn’t apply here as far as we know), so the embassy has no option but to place his case “on hold” indefinitely.
