Greetings everyone. My fiancé and I have an NOA1 date of December 20, 2019. Last Thursday, the processing times on Visa Journey showed that our date was being processed. Today, it is on December 27 (with the Texas processing center). When I check our case status, it still reads ¨On December 20, we received your case...´´ as it has for the last 4.5 months. Has your experience been that the date shown on Visa Journey Processing Dates page correlated quite closely with receiving official notice in the form of the NOA2 from USCIS?

There are a ton of December filers still waiting including myself. My NOA1 is dated Dec 23. I know there are ton of people from early December still waiting.

Texas Service Center, or the location you sent your I-129F to in Dallas, is merely a lockbox. All petitions are opened there, and checked for correct filing, payment and scanned into the USCIS system. They are then forwarded to the California Service Center

Texas is the lockbox where you send the I-129F. It is NOT the service center handling your case.

If your receipt notice starts with WAC, it's assigned to CSC (like nearly every I-129F for a K-1).

Thank you for the clarification. I was undrer the impression we would receive notification if it were sent elsewhere. The only thing I have received in this process is the NOA1 with our receipt of submission.

On the NOA1, it should list the service center (in the lower left corner IIRC).

You receive notification if it is transferred from one service center to another. But Dallas is only a lockbox facility.

The visajourney estimate was that my ead/ap would be processed in August, and the date kept getting pushed back. It started off as June. However, the documents were processed in April.

I understand that visajourney makes a mathematical estimate, but this is not necessarily accurate for each particular case

Visa Journey estimates are based on input from other users. So if people dont do their timelines or dont fill them out correctly, the estimates are inaccurate.

Visajourney statistics are only as good as those that complete their timeline. Even then not all impending immigrants are on VJ so it should always be a best guest estimate. All those that post here and don’t update their timeline- contributes to the inaccuracies

I dont think the question was why statistics are inaccurate. I think not was whether visajourney statistics are accurate or inaccurate.

Well that goes hand in hand doesn't it?
