Case waiting to be scheduled for an interview... Then covid-19...

You will get a notice from USCIS once your interview is scheduled. I had applied for AOS in May 2019, almost a year back. My AOS interview was scheduled and cancelled thrice and I donno when they will schedule it.

As long as I have my EAD, I am not really worried about the GC though it will be great to have it at the earliest and take lil rest from this complicated procedures and long wait time that makes you anxious.

I hope they just approve it without the interview that would be great.

The more important question is do you have a EAD card and a job?  A Green Card is a nice to have, but in this situation not absolutely necessary.

Agree! 100 %

Here is one of us!!!! Just received the status "Card mailed To Me'" yesterday!

Wow! You guys struggled for long during K1 but guess that wait was worth as u got ur GC without an interview. Congratulations! :)

I see it's almost two years since you had sent your K1 application. Mine would be two years too in couple of months. I hope the approve ours too without an interview. Our interview has already been cancelled thrice. I don't think I will get excited anymore if I see an interview has been scheduled cause u never know when they will cancel. Lol! Anyway! Congratulations. Stay safe and all the best for future process. :)

@K1visaHopeful  -  yesterday on 04/07 we received New Card Being Produced and today 04/08 is has changed to Case Approved for i-485!  We had a Interview scheduled for 04/15 and got the cancellation notice about last week.  We are very excited at this because we were certainly not expecting it!

That's such an amazing piece of information! I'm waiting for my GC interview and the combocard... NY can take a while and is a hope to know that some K1's are being waved the interview! Good luck to everyone!

I sent off for my EAD at the same time that I filed for my AOS. Back in February I had my finger prints taken for both the EAD and my AOS. When I check my case status for my EAD it says that the case has been updated to show that finger prints have been taken, which it still says today, so I'm still waiting for my EAD. I think I'm going to be waiting for that for most of the year...

Ok then. I feel really really bad for you. Hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel.
