Congrats to everyone who was approved or just have a good news🌸🙏🏻
 

I filed EAD June 2019

But instead of send it to Vermont I sent it to Chicago. 
My son got his EAD in July. I’m still waiting. 
It’s been 9 months already and nothing.

Im using my 180 extension. But it will expire May 25.

Im afraid that I won’t get it till that time. 
So I called to USCIS to schedule info pass but he said I need to write to Vermont directly. Like it’s just my only one option because it’s VAWA
So. Im going to write a letter to USCIS but how to write this letter correctly and make it looks formal?

@sandranj Which is faster in terms of processing, 

Filing for a child with approved vawa     OR

filing for a child with approved green card

I believe it's already translated. If it was just your native language, then you would have needed to translate..but it's both in English and your native language which I assume is transcribing the English text! This is what I think.👍

The officer then went on to ask for my full names,  my parent's names, my current address, my address in my home country and then the i485 "NO" questions.

 

Officer: do you have anything to add?

Me: I'd love to change my last name if thats okay

Officer: Ofcourse,! Have you ever used the name before?

Me: No

Officer: Okay, Whats the name?

I said my name and she did some writing.

Officer: Any more question?

Me : None for now. 

Officer: That"s it. I will review your file and you will get an update withing 24 hours.

Me: sounds good.

 

We stood up and walked out.

 

On our way out...

 

Officer: Do you still work at ....

Me : Yes I do

Officer: How do you like it

Me: Not bad. I enjoy what I do.

Officer: I can tell you like it there.  Have a good week.

Me : You too

4. I had only Psychological evaluation .

5. For Medicals: I got vaccines from the City Clinic  $55 and doctor's fee $225.

Background checks start from the date you did biometrics.  File ombudsman case, they will have you redo biometrics again. This will start background checks over again.

Thank you for the reply, but why would I want to start bc again? They took my biometrics in 2016, when I filed i-485.

Police report shows that she is was living our apartment

Manager letter

1 letter from friend who become co signed for my aparment, lease was on his name

her bills ( not on both on name) I had six bills of spouse ( dental health, department, insurance)

my bills ( same)

Even if they ask more evidence I dont have to add more. Anybody same statition got approved?
