  1. Lol..shy? This is a virtual gathering..we've been social distancing since 4ever!πŸ˜€ tell her to come on board..this ship's been sailing awesomely. πŸ’–πŸŒŸβœ¨
  2. It's always been ideal to petition together..but these days the approvals we've seen are mostly from folks who petitioned for GC after VAWA approval. Well..go ahead and apply..there's nothing stopping you.πŸ‘
  3. Hey sweety...how about you ask the questions here..if anything the emma business will be generic as hell. Like hitting a brick wall. So much to learn here as you know.πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
  4. Lol..thought as much!πŸ˜€ just chill it will all come together dear. Yeah same fees. Praying with you.πŸ™
  5. I know the anxiety is making you crave more and more..lol..it's understandable.😊 the RFE as you call it for medical update doesn't show up on the updates..at least mine didn't. You will get the notice in the mail. As for your I360 or i485..sometimes you get updates sometimes not. I believe when your i485 is transferred, you'll get an update..if you need to know the status of your case that much..you can enquire through your congressman. Some folks had their i485 transferred without getting updated. Messy USCIS there. Coupled with the troubles the pandemic brings with it..lol.πŸ’
  6. Please see my response above as I was specifically asked for good moral character..USCIS stated all I just told you above in my RFE description. I follwed the instruction carefully and emerged victorious! If you run into any further confusion, holla at the house!πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
  7. If you were in the U.S. for at least 3yrs before filing the petition, then get police report from your district/borough..but if less than 3yrs, get it from your last country of residence..anywhere you stayed for at least 6months. Friends, family, colleagues can write to attest to your good moral character..and of course a personal statement from you reiterating you're a person of repute.πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
  8. Proof of good moral character, shared residence, good faith marriage, qualifying relationship and evidence of abuse.. In no particular order..but the most common is the good moral character!πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
  9. Hi, they are processing mostly 2018/2019 cases now...if memory serves me correctly, I've read about up to August 2019 approvals here. So ask your relative to hang in there..although each case is different, while some need more time obviously to reach a decision, others are pretty straightforward! πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
  10. Ok so I've been through the interview..the experience is different for everyone depending on the officer you get..it's nothing uniform..except the yes or no questions on the i485 form. Be aware that even though it's out of place for an officer to ask questions about abuse etc..it's not unexpected! They might ask about your husband..if you're still married or divorce..they can pretty much ask anything be prepared...on the flip side they might not ask anything but the security questions..best to go very prepared! I wasn't asked anything but the yes or no questions..it was pretty quick for me..yes some cases have been approved without interview. This is totally at the discretion of the adjudicating officer..but the trend we've seen are mostly people who filed i485 after VAWA approval..for some unclear reasons..they are the ones who've benefited from the sans interview! Goodluck!πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
  11. Smiles..😊thanks for these kind words.πŸ’– God will see you throughπŸ™..HE saw me through! Whatever you do don't ask to be rescheduled! You have been blessed enough to receive an interview date..do not throw it away! People have been waiting and still are! It's best to receive RFE for the medicals...which you'll send in and be approved consequently! Go through the i485 questions..it's really nothing to be tensed about..I've been through it..hopefully you get inputs from folks who have experienced the GC interview, that will be most helpful. If you're confused about anything, the house is here for you beautiful!πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
  12. Amen to that..all the best. If there's any confusion, talk to the house!πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
  13. Wow! This is the first time in a long time I've heard of any interview! Things are looking up obviously!😊 anyways I went with my i864w ..they never asked for it..just my medicals. But please take with you all relevant documents for your i485 petition. Your attorney can help you fill out the i864w if not it's pretty easy to fill out. No stress there! You do not need to go with affidavits et al from your i360 petition which has already been adjudicated! The furlough doesn't affect i485 decisions in anyway so relax. As for the i693, you are suppose to take it along with you..is there no way you can make it happen? Find a way..if not, you'll be required to send it in before a decision is reached on your case. The USCIS updates sometimes don't reflect current status so don't fret about that. Be sure to take all original documents with you..marriage certificate, birth certificate, etc..All the best dear, may God go with you!πŸ™πŸ‘
  14. The concern is that an annulment invalidates a marriage..thereby annihilating the criteria of a qualifying relationship which happens to be one of the requirements for the petition!πŸ’if her spouse goes ahead with the threat, she best file a counter claim. As said often, an annulment should be fought vehemently!πŸ‘
