Hello!

I have my Green Card interview scheduled on Feb 18th and I will be 3 months pregnant by then.

Do I have to mention about the pregnancy in the  interview or just not talk about it at all ?

Start the conversation with “oh wow, it’s kicking again” and then the pregnancy topic will start. May be the IO will not ask hard questions even if he was planning to. Good luck.

Sure! 😄

Hope that was just a joke. She will be under oath and I am not a woman and dont want to say what to feel or not but in biology class we all learned that a mom will feel the baby's kicks only after 5-6 months of pregnancy. School was a long time ago so I might be wrong.

Beside that sure u can mention it, if u have pregnancy care documents/ultrasound u can add it as an evidence if you wish.

It should not be weighted more, but as others said might change the interviewers behaviour since we are all just humans.

Congrats!

I’m sure it was a joke but most women feel their baby before 5-6 months.

Lol, of course it was a joke, but even if it wasn’t, i don’t think there is any science or technology to prove that she lied under oath.

Good to remember that we have members who were pregnant in the past where shall we say the dates have not lined up. Not saying that is the case here.

Seriously? Can’t feel a thing before 20 weeks if first pregnancy and 15-17 weeks in subsequent ones if with posterior placenta. Even later if she has anterior one. She’ll barely show at 12 weeks.

Yes I took it on a lighter note ;). Definitely don't feel any kicks right now except for bouts of dizziness and nausea. Will definitely keep my sonogram handy. Thanks for your wishes ❤️
