Hi there! My name is Amber and my fiance is from Ochi. Congrats on your approval! We are impatiently waiting for ours. How is your process going? Does the medical and interview take a long time to complete? I was told that Kingston is really slow on getting people in for the interview and even slower for the medical to happen.

So far pretty good! Got NOA2 after 4 months with no RFE. My fiancé is from ochi as well😊. Right now we are waiting on the nvc to get our case number so we can fill out the ds-160. I heard they aren’t as bad as other countries. I asked someone in another forum and they were able to get medical within 2 weeks and interview the week after that. I’m hoping mine will be as quick. Keep me posted on your status

Hi Yani! I'm so excited for you!!!! We finally got our NOA2 on 5-6. I'm wishing things could go really fast. What are your thoughts on how quickly you moved through NVC to your interview? Did you schedule your interview around a convient time for you or did you just move things as fast as you could without restrictions?

Amber Kay yay! That’s awesome! We kind of waited a little while on filling out the DS-160 because they took awhile for his police certificate and certificate of non impediment because they were backed up. We wanted to make sure we had them in hand before scheduling an interview. At first it said no available dates (that was Friday evening and I emailed the embassy. By Monday the dates were open and June 7th was the first available date. Then we had to go to Andrewsmemorialhospital.com for the medical and we didn’t pick that date they just emailed one. I guess to answer your question kind of both, what’s both convenient and available

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
