I feel you. Nov 14th for me (Canada) and still waiting. There was someone who was Nov 20th and got their DQ last week, so holding out hope we get it this week. But, I'm getting the sense it's going to take the full two months.

Same here. Nov 14th (Argentina) and still waiting.

Any advice if the docs were submitted in the wrong section?

We didn't submit the tax return and w2 in the additional section...

Do you all think we should reload the taxes in the additional documents section?

Have anyone made this mistake before?

Where did you upload your taxes? I don’t remember how it says exactly, but in the mandatory documents on the financial part, there is a tab to upload the I-864 and then another tab to upload taxes. If you uploaded the most recent tax transcript there, that’s fine. In the additional documents section you can upload the third and second most recent tax transcripts if you want to but they’re not mandatory. You also upload the W2 on the additional documents section of the financial part if you had to submit them. Is that how you did it?

Anyone know of a good time to reach NVC by phone in the middle of the day? I can´t ever get to the phone at their 7am opening... I keep calling during the day but it goes straight to their recorded message saying to call at another time. And each call is money.

Thanks!

Hey Hilde,

I waited only 15 minutes last Monday (Jan6th). I called at 6:59am (12:59 in France)... tried 4 times and the last time was the good one.

Take care, Alix

We submitted everything for the joint sponser in the required aos documents section.

Docs included for joint sponser were; aos form, proof of us citizenship, proof of domicile, and taxes and w2 together (as one file) in that order.

Unfortunately I think they will be rejected. Because each document has to be its own file except when you submit translations, only in those cases the original document and the translation should be in one file. I’m not sure if you can edit what you submitted. If you can, then maybe you should do it now so you don’t have to wait until they review your documents, then you could save some time. If not then you will have to wait until they review them

23 months 😱 so sorry to hear that ..what is OCD?
2 submission dec 2 for us . Yes slow as hell and it’s getting worst when we see that since last week they barely worked ..

today we had to call them 3 times because the two first time the phone cut on their side 🧐🤔

and as usual they give random answers and the usual “ there is no time frame “

the agent we had on phone ( 1st call) agreed that they slowed down recently .
We even talk to a tier 2 but same s*** .

we feel completely powerless honestly ...

I don’t know what to think or expect right now

@Mr & Mrs T OCD means:obsessive-compulsive disorder.  Now we  only talk about these stuffs in our daily conversation .  I know it does not help to call them but i am calling them if i can find anything. I also heard that we have to wait infinite time to get an Interview after DQ.

@Rsmee thank you for your answer 🙂

we know that it not help but calling them became like a routine to show that we don’t give up even if we know that they will answer the same thing at each time ..

for the interview it depend of the embassy some have long wait times and some others just 1/2 months .
i hope everyone waiting hear will hear good news soon .
right now , on my side I don’t expect anything before end of January when I am gonna be at 2 months wait

Best time is the morning as soon as they open.... I called today at 7am still took 4 attempts to get through and an hour on hold... fortunately for me I’m currently in the us on vacation so the call didn’t cost me anything, wouldn’t recommend calling them from overseas unless your a millionaire
