Quick Question- I’m sure this has been answered. Probably a dumb question.
Once you file AOS, what’s been the average wait time ? 3 to 4 weeks to cash check or find out it’s been accepted ?
Also let’s say you send in AOS package on day 70 and your mode of payment isn’t accepted yet after 3 weeks ? Are you in Authorized stay or at day 90 are you now “technically” an overstay.
A bit confused how that works.
thanks

Yes it’s usually more than 3 weeks it depends on your local office.. someone is getting it within a week i heard that too but its rear, mine was 2.5 weeks

Yes, It can be more than 3 weeks. I sent the application on October 16th, reached Chicago on October 17th and I still do not have the NOA's yet, check has not been cashed.

Have you gotten an email or text notice that they received it?

What a beautiful morning! Woke up and saw SMS confirmation that all my three forms were received! (for 2 forms i got 2 identical SMS) . in total precisely 2 weeks, not bad, i guess :)

I guess it varies huh? Woke up in a panic because it is day 5 and still dont have a text/email message. Im relieved to know it doesnt always take just 5 days.

I received my 3 text messages today, as well. Sent parcels Nov. 1, texts received early morning of the 14th. Took 8-9 business days. I'm thankful. Hopefully, the processing times remain the same for everyone.  All the best!

oh no, 5 days is definitely not the time frame to be worried . 2 weeks is a good case scenario , as in some cases it takes longer.  I hope you will get notifications soon!

I think that the idea is to get married before your I-94 expires... am I right?

I've never been so excited to receive a notification that my credit was charged as I was today. I hope this means our NOA1 is on the way!

No, not yet. If we get those great, otherwise the charge on my card is a good indication they were received.
