Hey guys, I have a question. So I'm at the nvc where I uploaded all my documents in Ceac last month on Sept 20 and since uploading documents all I can see it says its submitted. Does anyone know how long it takes for it to change to accepted. It is already being a month since my submission and all the time when I call NVC they tell me to check the web site for processing time. Has anyone had the same experience like me.

NVC processing time is really a hit or miss. On average it seems it takes around 4-6 weeks to get accepted, but some people get it within a couple days/weeks and others it takes a couple months. You should hear something soon is my bet

  • Dec 18 2019: Requested doc submitted
  • Feb 19 2020: Documentarily Qualified (9 weeks from 2nd submission, 14 weeks from first submission)

Interview Stage:

  • Mar 11 2020: Interview letter received
  • Apr 1 2020: Interview date

Thank god that the CEAC issues were resolved! We were finally able to upload all of our docs and submit them! Now, I guess I just have to wait. Some of you are saying that it might take more than a month to receive an instruction letter/interview date, and I can see that some are documentarily qualified already after just a few days. Such a weird system, I must say. Well, one step closer now wohoo!

Good luck to all of us!

The coast is clear now.

Let the uploads, submissions and re-submissions begin.

No time to waste!

Good luck and courage to everyone that was affected.

🙏
