Ok nice, I’m still waiting on the Approval. I called them yesterday and they had an actual officer talk to me, this person told me the file was being reviewed. So I’m not sure how long this will take for them to review. Does anyone have an idea of how long this will take??? 😳😳😳😳

me and my wife we fill the form i130 on august and we got our NOA1 on 12 same month and our case went to nebraska centre with IOE receipt number and today we did send the form i129F and we hope if that can help us to get approved so soon i wish if some one can gave me good news about the step we did today

Would be interesting to see the numbers behind the complaints... bet the majority are coming from those who don’t qualify for k3

Or they are scared to file a K3. It felt like a gamble when I filed it. What if the K3 makes things slower, instead of making them faster?

I think it makes it faster... I helped another VJ member and her I-130 was approved a few days after she filed the K3 visa.

There was a thread a few days ago where an I-129F was filed and the I-130 was rejected. From the sounds of it they did but much evidence with their I-130.  (I can't seem to find the link now)

Maybe its better not to post this stuff unless you can actually find the source and and explanation why. 
Even if this is true there could be 1000 of reasons why its rejected and filing for the K3 is not one of those.

yes it is still nothing, if you look at het dates you can see she submitted it wrong. People in that specific thread calling her out on it too, it is very sad to read.

 

she filed for the 130 and the 129 one day after each other, without waiting for to NOA1 from the 130 (that you need to file for the 129).  So they can ask for rfe.

overall I can not conclude that if she would have filed both in the right way the K3 slowed doen het process, but the bad timing is.
