Shame! On a positive note, each passing day just gets us closer to the finish line.

P.S. Are we required to make colour copies of certain documents?

Looking on the bright side. This month happens to be my birthday month and wedding anniversary so an IL would be great right now. I’ll private message you on what is needed for the interview for Dhaka.

You must then get an IL this month. Surely?! InshaAllah. The perfect gift!

Appreciate it, thank you very much.

I think it has to do with f2a being current. Every embassy was going smoothly until July interviews. Then it just stopped. Either that or having to do with summer tourists and student visa interviews.

They said we are not affected but who knows. I just hope I get the interview/visa before all my police clearances from different countries expire. Btw, say my police certificates were issued February 2019, interview is October 2019 and will fly to POE March 2020 (which is one month past 1 yr of the police certificate) will that be ok?

I really wish it’s because of that because honestly I have no other explanation. The last person who got an IL from my country got CC a month before me and it just vanished after that. There isn’t much people on here from my country so maybe there are just too many applicants? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Just spit balling here.

Police certificates are valid for 1 year and from my understanding it needs to be current at time of interview. Traveling only becomes an issue when the medical exam expires before arriving to POE.

Thank you. It will still be valid for sure if I get interview before February. March will be our second year anniv and we are thinking of him just keep visiting me here even if I have the visa and We fly to POE a day after our second yr anniv so that will automatically change my visa type CR1-IR1. It’s because of the horror of this process we just dont want to deal with them in less than 2 yrs again! 😭

I think the worst part of this whole process is after getting the date for your interview and the thoughts that go through one's mind. The what ifs.. I haven't slept well since getting him getting the actual date..

I thought I was the only one. I haven't been sleeping at all and I have major anxiety about it. I honestly don't know what to do until the day comes to ease some of my nervousness 😕
