I don't know guys... it looks suspicious that all timelines suddenly doubled. It's not like the waiting period was raised in one area but lowered in another. It may be a glitch or some changes in USCIS policy.

But I wouldn't get upset so soon. Its just like none of us got those EADs when the timeline showed 2,5 months, right?

Green Card in hand! 🎉 I wasn't approved on spot, but basically same day status changed to "New Card Is Being Produced", however I found it out only next day. I hope you all will have interviews

We had out interview yesterday. The officer was a really nice man, however it was difficult to see what he thinks about our case. He asked a few questions like how we met, what did we do prior meeting

Long time stalker of this thread, thought I'd add to it since we finally have good news and it gives me hope when I see others post lol.  We got scheduled for our interview yesterday!  El Paso office.  AOS submitted June 22, biometrics July 19.  Got an RFE 8-26 for his birth certificate - which we 1000% sent along with a certified translation - so no idea why we got that RFE.  I sent a snarky but professional cover letter (risky, I know ha) along with the same copies and a different version of the birth certificate - even though both were official, and the status finally changed yesterday to Interview Scheduled! yay!

I got the same RFE and I’m in the same situation as you were. You give me good news and hope. Did it change from RFE received to Interview scheduled?

I did not submit any documents yet. I put in a request for expedite on Sept 24th citing job offer and unexpected bills. And my status got updated today to " your request to have your case expedited, referral number XXXXX, was completed."

Hi everyone, we just got an update on our EAD status to "NEW CARD is being produced"!!(applied 3rd of June)
AOS case is still "case is ready to be sceduled for an interview" and Travel Document is still " case was received".

 

i always thought that EAD card will be processed along with the travel document, but i guess not ?

Timings for AOS interviews are crazy loooong for every state ,but at least i am hoping we all get our EADS soon :)

No expedite? Did you mention any travel plans in your AP application?

 

You will probably get the EAD/AP combo card.
