Parents of US Citizen

My wife’s parents are visiting on a visitor visa. Can she apply for them to remain in the United States with the I-130 form? If so I was wondering what is the processing time for approval and how long before they can adjust status? What would the fees be for the whole process?

In this thread it says your in-laws petitions were currently at the NVC stage?  Did she withdraw the petitions and is planning on petitioning again?

they can not stay till completed however she can file an I-130 for them again and they can visit will it process at the discretion of CBP.

If she is a USC then she absolutely file an i130/i485 simultaneously and they remain

To be fair, if they are already here and family is only now wondering if it can be done then there was likely not intent at entry 

(and even if there was, the law has plenty loopholes for IR visas, annoying as hell to the rest of us, but they exist)

Intent is determined at the border,  they were let in.  They are eligible to adjust.   Besides,  where in the OPs original post mention anything about a preconceived plan?

Have you looked into Health Insurance. Their Travel Insurance will not cover them of they are staying.
