Is it possible for my husband to travel to the US after we file an i130? He lives in the UK and currently travels to the US one week a month or every other month. He has a job and ties to the UK that would show that he would not plan to stay permanently. I know it's up to a Border Patrol Agent and that technically they can deny but my questions is more so is it completely impossible while it's pending. Sorry if this has been addressed in a previous posting and thanks for any help in advance! 😁

It's not impossible and it's been literally answered 1000000 times. It shows laziness when you didnt even try to look through the forum.

It is totally possible - just be sure he has ample proof of his intent to return home after visiting you. Good luck and I hope you can enjoy a visit together in the US :)

The CR-1/IR-1 version appears to be gone for some reason...? Weird. It still applies all the same, though.

Thank you! We applied previously for a K1 and he traveled just fine while that was pending (cancelled due to choosing to get married and apply for a marriage visa instead).

Yes, there is some negativity on here and that makes some hesitant to ask questions, unfortunately. Don't let that stop you from asking about anything you need info on though - I have always found I get good solid info pretty quickly on here - ignore any unhelpful responses and you will find this site is extremely informative.

Thank you for that tip. Definitely a good outlook to have! 😊

Sorry for the unkind replies you've had.

It is possible. If he is traveling for business, it is probable.

Thanks! I feel allot more confident now. Obviously being separated for long periods is not an ideal scenario for any relationship and I don't get nearly enough vacation time from work! 😊

Yes he can :) make sure he has a letter from his employer stating he is due to return to work after his visit to you & i would suggest him having a photocopy of your NOA1 from your I-130 to show you are in the process at present (just in case they ask for these evidences, the probably wont, best to have them on him though!)
