Im sorry yes, with the I-797 letter, my friend was not allowed to board a Luftansa as Luftansa folks said they dont recognize the letter as the GC card itself is expired.

Not sure if any other person has faced this issue!

It's not unusual for someone to need to call a supervisor or their support center to resolve this, but if you have the letter and the expired green card, most people eventually board with only a small delay.  For us, even flying out of Bali a couple days ago, this was very easy handled at both check-in, the gate, and CBP.

Hey all!

Just want to share my timeline with you. My window opened in Feb but didn’t have time to send it then.

Package sent: March 14

Package received: March 20

NOA1 Approval Date: March 25

Received NOA1: April 6

No Biometrics notice yet

MSC Service Center

I submitted form G1145 together with my application but never received a text confirmation or email. I also used USPS Money order to pay for the fees so I never knew if it has been encashed or not. Btw, I live in Guam so that explains the few extra days in the delivery and receiving time.

Good luck to us all!

Hi everyone! Just another update. My status changed today to Interview was scheduled! That's exactly three months from my NOA1 Approval Date. I haven't received the Interview Notice in the mail but I'm assuming I'm scheduled within the next two weeks. My local office is Guam (which is not busy at all). I will update you all after my interview :)

Updated Timeline:

Package sent: March 14

Received NOA1: April 6

Biometrics: April 25

Fingerprint Review Completed: April 30

Guys one question, recently read on https://www.uscis.gov/workload-transfers

that cases from EAC have been moved to Potomac Center on May 6th, 2019, wondering if anyone has got a notification of case transfer or do we not know if they will even tell us if its moved.

coz Potomac center process in 11-14 months

Vermont does it in 15-19 months. It might help to know where our case is actually being processed no?

They send a letter when they transfer cases. The online status usually updates too, but it's not completely reliable.

Thanks for doing that. I've filled in my details.

As an aside, are any EAC filers able to locate their case if they search here? https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/

My Case Status does not recognize the receipt number entered, but I can find my case on https://myaccount.uscis.gov/ it just hasn't updated since it changed to 'We received your case, You do not need to do anything at this time, We will let you know if we need anything else from you as we continue to review your case.'
