  1. We're trying to not let the uncertainty and waiting of everything get to us. I'm praying that we'll all start to see cases moving forward in the next couple of weeks. We were hoping that our pending ROC would change from ready for an interview to green card scheduled. But it looks like it is not going to happen Hubby is studying for the test and reviewing his application. We play Citizenship Interview a couple of times a month, so he can become more confident/not have to worry about trying to learn everything within a month's notice of his actual interview. We made our own flash cards using the official site and for questions with multiple answers, we focused on one easy answer he could remember.
  2. Thanks for the responses everyone Fingers crossed USCIS will be up and running in the next couple of weeks and will be churning out those interview notices !
  3. Thanks for the update! There is so much uncertainty with everything going on, I don't know how far back USCIS will be delayed with their interviews.
  4. Our estimated Case Completion is back and shows our case will be complete November 2020 (7 months). Does anyone else's estimate show a later or early time than what was previously showing?
  5. Hi KCMO, I think you should be fine. Things change since filing the form to interview, but if you let the IO know at the beginning it should be good. My husband has a job change that he'll need to tell the IO about as well as update addresses for the last 5 years. We also didn't upload a speeding ticket, because we thought (mistakenly) that if it was under $300 you didn't have to put it. He's going to mention everything at the start of the interview and once we receive the interview date will upload a PDF as well. Can I ask how you wrote your letter?
  6. Yes, I definitely will! I'm glad its moving this fast, I think it was a lot slower about a year ago.
  7. Lol well who knows with USCIS. I'm hoping the case completion times are inaccurate and we'll be done sooner. At our field office, I think its taking about 5 to 6 months from applying to getting the oath ceremony based on others' experience. I've heard that sometimes citizenship applications are processed faster in an election year (I'm not sure how true that is), so maybe there is hope for us!
  8. Biometrics complete and received "We reviewed your Biometrics" case status update today. Estimated case completion time is 8 months, praying it doesn't take that long.
  9. I'm hoping these are just over-exaggerations and it'll be a little quicker than that.
  10. Ok, thanks. I hope it doesn't really take 8 months.
  11. Ugh, on the account our estimated case completion is back to November 2020 and it says estimated wait time is 8 months. Did anyone else's estimated wait time come back after biometrics? The case status updated to: February 27, 2020 We reviewed your biometrics You do not need to do anything at this time We will let you know if we need anything else from you as we continue to review your application

  13. Hubby went to his biometrics today. His appointment was at 12:00, but he had another conflicting appointment, so he went at 9. He finished around 11:30 and at 12:20 his case status changed to Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS. Case completion is now October 2020, 1 month less.

  15. Yeah, I had wanted him to go on Wednesday in the afternoon but it didn't work out. Unfortunately today, he's busy all day with school and can't try again. But I doubt a day would make a difference in our processing time.
