Yh, it so weird but its minor. They’ve probably misplaced it or don’t like the queens English! Lol I’m on the phone to my mum like what kinda dodgy certificate did you get done lol 😂  I read a lady from Wolverhampton was asked for an English translation of her BC as her RFIE.

The upside they've looked at my case and I didn’t wait longer to hear from them!

Haha you need to get an American translated one 😂 Glad you’ve had some movement though!

Lol I got mine too this week. It’s so great that they don’t even know their own system. Just gives you so much confidence!!

I get them about 3x a week lol

Can she order one from here for 11 quid on your behalf, and then scan a copy that you can print for them? They call it "A4" or long form birth certificate.  Disclaimer: I don't know much about UK, it just weird to me it won't be accepted.

Hey guys, so on this lovely Saturday morning i received my RFIE letter on my case. 🙃 It is for me to “submit a copy of the birth certificate issued by the appropriate civil authority for the applicant. It then goes on to mention only accepting long form certificates  with parents name and about translation to English.... etc

I was born in Birmingham, UK it’s hand written, It is a long form stating both my parents name and signed by the Registrar too.

Could the problem be that it’s handwritten? I read one person got theirs translated [ English to English) so it would be typed up instead?

Do you think i need to do that also?

Hi, I’m from the UK too and mine was hand written... there was no problem and I didn’t get an RFE for it. That’s weird?

03/01/2019 - USCIS Chicago lockbox received case  for AOS/EAD/AP

03/21/2019 - NOA1 received hard copy via post (Notice date 03/14/2019)

Yh, The only other thing it could be is if my husband birth certificate is the cause because it had torn corners off the certificate. But the letter stated the “applicant” so i referred it back to me again Or they have misplaced them.🤷‍♀️

It’s just so depressing. Was early July when we first filed. Now three months later!

For personal reasons I will have to go to my home country around November. I hope to get at least the AP until then, but the predictions are getting pushed later every week 😕 does any one tried to request a expedite AP? If yes, what reason have you gave? Does substantial financial loss apply if I already had bought the flights?

I'm getting so frustrated with this. My husband can support us for now, but I really want to start to contribute to the household and be able to travel abroad.
