I was in Charles Village area at some point then BelAir-Edison area. It was centered in that area, but I also remember it up towards Overlea/Rosedale. My mom can also remember it growing up in more Jewish-centric communities of Parkville/Park Heights/Woodlawn/Windsor Mill (Pikesville was very nice though), but she doesn't think it was as visible as it was during the 80s.

Sure. I live amongst rednecks now. Racist and non-racist. But what I'm talking about wasn't rednecks. These were hardcore guys... horrible people.

Because racists gonna racist? :P In truth, it's probably a small group of haters that wants to make a name for themselves (back in the 80s in B'more they were very scarily visible.. I'm meaning guys that rode around in military vehicles with swastikas and dressed up as SS... they'd leave flyers, spray paint houses, destroy graveyards, break windows, and beat up people), now they are more underground but still feel bold enough to be horrible. Truth is though anti-Semitism is on the rise, and not just in the US either. The NYT just did a piece a few days ago about the rise of attacks. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/02/18/nyregion/anti-semitism-brooklyn-new-york.html As it points out, 10-15 incidents were related to one person... but many of the attacks have become very violent, and they are likely involving groups of people.

This is so true. A serious growing issue in Europe as well.

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

Honestly there are very few Jewish people around here . The only one I have ever been around was a guy that use to go fishing with us. His family owned a rather large local business. He did tell me that the Local (blue Blood) country club had refused his family membership  back in the day, but had offered them a membership in the 90's, which they refused.
