You have those two options. Schedule now and be worrisome (remember setting expectations too high) that the case won't arrive in time or wait and schedule once the file is in route to your embassy.

Gonna keep calling till Monday to get case number.

Will track to see if we have made it to the batch. When it will be confirmed I will ask lawyer to go ahead and get the ball rolling.

you just got your NOA2 a few days ago? way too soon to call.

 

your lawyer cant make anything go faster.

i 485, 130, EAD and AP

04/09/2019    NOA1 received/check cashed i 485 and 130 (direct adjustment)

11/7/2019      Interview- Norfolk

11/10/2019    APPROVED (notification rec'd 11/10, approval dated 11/8)

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

 

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

 

CR1 for Child under 21 (20 at time of filing)- Filed by LPR Spouse for his son

4/4/20     Mailed packet

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

10/14/21 (havent heard anything... when do i start to get worried?)

9/15/22 APPROVED! Now to wait for NVC and interview....

 

ROC

10/14/21 Mailed to AZ PO Box. Let the waiting begin. Again.

10/16/21 Received at PO Box

10/19/21 Received Text NOA1

NOA2 is 10/17. Has been more than a month. People approved after with NVC recieved date later than me have recieved case numbers. I have been very patient but it's kind of wearing out now.

ah ok. thought it was 11/17 lol

 

doesnt change the fact your lawyer cant do anything though.

 

waiting sucks but is pretty much the name of the game for this ENTIRE process. hurry up and wait. then wait some more. but wait! keep waiting.

Yes it is wait wait wait. I think you misunderstood, the lawyer actually wants to schedule now but I want him to wait till NVC dispatches. I absolutely understand he can't do anything other than fill forms and put together supporting docs. My end of beneficiary prerequisites I have been taking care of myself. My fiance is coming in Christmas break so that's something to look forward to. He wanted to accompany me to interview if we could get a December 3rd week slot. Anyways hoping for the best and good luck to you too!

So relieved .. no more callings 🙂

11/13 NVC you guys should have it by EOD or Friday..

THANK GOD FOR YOU 13s PEOPLE. I see some hope now for us 14's. I was looking at VJ stats and noticed that all 13s and 14s hadn't recieved case numbers. Strange though. Fingers crossed and prayer mode full on.

Out of curiosity and due to a very slow work day, called NVC. They did receive our file on the 19th, but was advised it could be up to jan 14th before case number/consulate transfer. Easy enough to remember. its my birthday lol
