I am pretty sure the mega wealthy have the most to lose, so I don't quite understand where you are coming from.

You ever notice how people ignore how the mega wealthy usually are the same ones funding the politicians, so they won't raise taxes on them? You won't find the Koch brothers, or the like, arguing for raising taxes. Just their clueless minions arguing the exact opposite, as if they were the ones, who personally were going to suffer if the mega wealthy might have to get by with only nine multi million dollar yachts instead of ten. Poor things. Better they live in Golden palaces, rather than the people they employ, be forced to live on welfare.

If the mega-wealthy TRULY felt that way, why are they... “mega-wealthy”?  If they believed socialism was the right way, wouldn’t they give up 90% of their wealth without being forced to do so?

not sure how, given they already have amassed wealth.  one could quit working and just live on the accumulated wealth and only pay

taxes on any interest.

More socialism could potentially mean higher capital gains, which would not exactly help Mr. Carrrey, when ever he wishes to sell one of his properties, or pass on his wealth, when he dies.

if he wishes to sell - in the last case, i doubt he'd really care about the taxes at that point.

Solution: Ignore everything any celebrity says.  Even quasi-celebrities like the Kardashians.  They are stupid, uninformed, and sway depending on which way the wind blows.
