So I have a couple questions again.

#1 I have just handed my notice in at my job. I was really unhappy and plus I am going to see my fiance at the end of September and wanted to go for a bit longer than the holiday time that I had left. I figured that (God-willing) I would be hopefully moving over in December anyway, so I might as well just work part-time once I get back in November and wrap things up etc.

My question is, will this be an issue when I am going through immigration? What do you guys think that i should do/say to combat it?

I'm obviously going to come back to England in November because I have to do my medical and interview, pack, say my goodbyes etc. but just a bit worried about being turned away in September. Am I just overthinking??

#2 In regards to the "summary care record", my GP is saying that I can just print it off through my online portal. I don't go to the doctor much and I haven't been very sick during my life but I feel like what I'm seeing online is kind of basic. It's basically just my vaccines and any medication I've been prescribed etc.

Is anyone else having this issue? Is that enough to suffice for the requirement? Is there somewhere else I can go to ask or something else I should be asking for?

Thanks in advance for any help guys!

@Em&B So I have heard that with some new law apparently that is making it really hard almost impossible for people to get a job/hired in the U.S. now ... that employers have to show that there is no U.S. Citizen qualified to fill the position? 🙄😒🤔 something about not being able to work until you are a citizen? Has anyone heard anything about this? This terrifies me.. if it is true, how are any of the fiancés coming into America going to find jobs!

To follow up on your posting in the closed thread I offer you this explanation.

You are referring to someone who is processing through a EBx visa. There are number of EBx types of visas. Once of which needs the Employer to prove to the US Govt that there isn't a USC to fill that position first. If not then the EBx is issued for that process.

Now a CR-1 married seeking a family based visa and a K-1 also seeking a family based visa can work once the begin to process their AOS. Once you file the I-765 form and approved you will be able to search and receive work. Official wording below.

After being admitted to the U.S. on a K-1 nonimmigrant visa, your fiancé(e) may immediately apply for evidence of work authorization by filing Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization. In this case, your fiancé(e)’s work authorization is valid for only 90 days after his or her entry into the U.S.

Your fiancé(e) may also apply for work authorization at the same time he or she applies for a Green Card. In this case, your fiancé(e) can file Form I-765 together with the Form I-485. In this case, your fiancé(e)’s work authorization is valid for one year and may be extended in one-year increments.

#1 you maybe overthinking this a tad. But you maybe required to show proof that you are returning to the UK, so the return ticket will be one source of evidence. Lease and utility bills would be another. And your honesty with immigration will go along way. Just be confident and state you are planning on returning to process the K-1 visa (you could have a copy of your NOA1 & NOA2 if you have those).

You're not alone. I'm so tired of being strong.. I'm tired of living life on hold. I'm tired of not being able to make any permanent decisions right now because life is on hold. I am so tired, I've tried so hard to not be miserable about the process.. but it's just weighing so heavily on my shoulders. This is the most painful thing I've ever been through and I'm trying so hard to not fall apart.

In reply to #2:

My GP summary care record is also very basic and I also thought the same thing when they emailed it to me - it looks like something that I could have just typed myself on word. Also, from the research I’ve done, it should suffice.
