Another question about visiting again. My fiancé started a new job in January and didn’t tell anyone about the visa process and his intent to move here some day because he didn’t want to not get the job and appear disloyal to the company. He still hasn’t talked about us much to anyone and even though he plans on visiting here in two weeks, he said he can’t ask his boss to write a letter stating he expects him back on April 8 because it’ll appear suspicious. Are pay stubs enough along with bill statements and bank statements? I’m so worried about him being turned away when he’ll literally be in the same building as me

Well here is the good news. The information on the website, I'll link it below as it is a place you should become familiar with as your questions will be answered from it, states that you must show evidence that the beneficiary will not become a public charge. Evidence is a whole battery of information but it is allowing you to be selective in what you present. Now having said that you may face a 221(g) for additional evidence since their statement is so vague. So, you could avoid the employment letter and use other evidence such as recent pay stubs, bank statements and IRS transcripts as proof.

"K and Diversity visa applicants are not required to provide an I-864 Form.  However, they must show evidence that they are not likely to become public charges while in the United States. There is no set for that this evidence must take but use of the form I-134 is an efficient way to provide this information to the Consular Officer."

I suggest that you become a guest over in the London sub-forum where others from your country are in discussion daily of what they see and what they are using to help navigate the interview process in your country.

You think they're even more concerned than the embassy?

Each entity has there own list of concerns. So can I say one is more concerned then the other NO. What I am saying, and it was specific to CFO, what the history is with CFO interviews. My concern is that you're going to take this lightly and you then fall in a pile of S___t because you/her were so confident that CFO is nothing to be concerned about.

Anywhooo. Good luck with your interview and your visit to CFO.

Hey, I’ve been following this page since November but never wrote anything. I made profile yesterday cause I’m getting worried and wanted to ask. Our Noa1 date is August 30 and we haven’t still heard anything. Is this normal?😫 Is there anyone else from August still waiting? Should we call or do something or just keep waiting? Thank you❤️

Have you tried contacting USCIS to see if you can get any info?  I would request to speak to a tier 2 officer.  Good luck.

I tried calling about a month and a half ago and I was told to call back for an update if it was over 7 months 😕 you can try but it’s a to get in contact with a person. I heard back exactly 6 months after we applied. Still waiting for the approval after we sent in additional evidence from the RFE.

You are near the completion of your application. You are in the normal processing time. Normally most hear between 6-8 months currently and you are now arriving in that time period. Just a little more time. Calling will not move your case forward to completion any faster and a tier 1 sees the same as you and a tier 2 will see a little more but it all depends on where you are on the background checks. Again, calling will not move your case to completion any sooner.

I would call regardless, just to  talk to real person and confirm what the current status is as websites are unfortunately unreliable and might not be accurate reflection of current status. You have nothing to lose from calling, other than maybe an hour of your time.

When you call, choose Options 1, 2, 3, 2. Like Shiran said, at best you'll just get told to wait but at least you know the actual current status. I was approved on the 25th and the new website didn't show my approval until the 28th (the old didn't update at all). It's worth a shot, imo!
