For me it has been twice in over a decade, but both times I was living in another state.  They must be using outdated rolls or something (and I'm certain it was the voter registration because it was in my maiden name versus my DL married name).

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

The OP lives in California. I've lived in CA as an adult for about 10 years. I've gotten jury duty summons 4-5 times. It's not uncommon here.

Hi, i got a jury duty letter, i became US citizen few months go -almost 6months ago-  the jury duty is on Thursday, Do i Have to show up ?

Thank you

Once you go in then expect to be called in next year as well. Once they learn they can depend on you then they will keep calling you.

It's one of the questions in the 100 civics questions. Personally I can't wait. I find such things fascinating. I always wanted to be called for the jury in the U.K. Never happened. Person who sat next to me at work got called twice in one year and another person at the office got called 6 weeks after getting citizenship.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath
