I have following questions related to K1 visa from Pakistan

1- If a person has never been out of Pakistan, does he/she still need a police certificate for k1?

2- If the person don't have vaccination record, then what should be done? Shall he/she get a vaccination certificate from a Dr. Or shall it be done during medical test? Any particular form needs to be filled on this or not?

Hi! I'm from Pakistan, for the first point:

You need a police certificate irrespective of if you've been outside Pakistan or not. They need to know if you were a responsible citizen wherever you resided. In Pakistan it takes around 2 to 3 weeks or longer if you've changed a lot of addresses since birth.

2. You can either get vaccinations now or if you don't you will need to during another medical for AOS in the US. Highly recommend you get them from Pakistan. No forms to be filled, the panel doctor in Pakistan will give you a sealed report after your medical which you will need to take with you to interview at embassy and at the POE, do not open that envelope under any circumstances.

Hope that helps.

It's a US Federal Holiday so all government facilities are closed. See all Federal holidays here:

Checkyour  embassyIinstructions  have posted a link below. Imo you will need a "local" pc but follow the instructions as to what is needed.

2- If the person doesn't have a vaccination record, then what should be done? You go to your medical and there will be a series of questions that they will ask, they will review your torso for evidence of prior immunization and from the blood test from the blood they will draw during the exam.

Shall he/she get a vaccination certificate from a Dr. Or shall it be done during medical test? If you have one available then your immunization will go smoother.

Any particular form needs to be filled on this or not? No form. Everything is done during the medical exam.

Technicalities::::::😶

Ok, so lets assume (just if) Hopefully interview happens in January or feburary, in that case, would tax transcrits of 2018 will be needed? Will have to hurry up and file taxes.

And people suggest letter from employer,  would it be required to mention how much we will be making in 2019?

You use the current year of your tax filing. So if you have not filed your taxes for 2018 before the interview then you will submit 2017. If you have filed your taxes for 2018 and have your interview schedule for after, then, of course, use 2018.

Letter of employment should only list the current salary, completed and dated on company letterhead. His supervisor or HR can provide him with a letter.

The IRS can’t provide certain transcripts if the return isn’t processed. If you filed your return electronically, it will be about three weeks before the tax transcript is available. If you mailed your return, it will take approximately six weeks.

So if filed taxes and tax transcripts are not available yet🤔😟, because with high fraud country as in Pakistan,  i am seeing them asking official ones from irs...i am worried they may ask to bring official one during interview to process visa, so delaying case😕
