Wait a few days for I-94 to appear online then go to a social security administration office to apply.

I don't think naturalization is something your parents can do for you.

but I thought you must be a us citizen to apply for a k1 petition?

Huh?

How did you do a K1 as a LPR?

That means you are not a permanent resident. You are a us citizen... well that makes you permanent resident too, but not in a "green card" way..

Then you're a USC...either via naturalization or birth, not what you would call a "permanent resident" in an immigration perspective. A permanent resident is a green card holder.

To get an SSN, just go to the local Social Security Administration (SSA) and apply for it. They will need their passport w/ visa and potentially a printout of their I-94 (https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/). They must apply within the first 76 days of entry, or else wait until they get an EAD or green card.

I am not really sure what your background story is.......

BUT I have a good friend that was adopted from Korea was she was 4 months old. She was a USC her entire life through naturalization. When she was 30 years old and just got married, she found out the social security department and immigration department has her listed as two different things. She discovered this when she went to change her name. One department had her listed as a USC and the other as an alien. (She was actually a USC with a passport) but she had to go in and talk to them and give them the paperwork, they originally lost, and spend a lot of money and time to have them refile her naturalization.

So these things can actually happen.

She joked all through college she would receive notices that she didn't qualify for scholarships/financial aide because of her residency status but would show her naturalization certificate and it would be taken care of. She laughed because it all made sense once she discovered the miscommunication between the departments.

If you're like me then I think you might have gotten citizenship through your parents being naturalized. So you, personally, didn't get naturalized you were just automatically a citizen if your parents were naturalized before you turned 18.

You can either have a green card or a United States passport (meaning your a USC) you can’t have both 🤔

It you have a United States Passport (those are only given to citizens of the US) and green cards are for LPR. You cant hold both statuses simultaneously. I would look into it because something is amiss.
