I see @Naes Thank you for that. Yeah it has been 3 months and we cannot track it but we called like twice already and they said it is going fine. We just have to wait. Is there something wrong or do we need to worry if we cannot track it? We have the hardcopy of noa1,text and email. We received our noa1 last dec 16.

Hi Guys

I am also on a SOUTH AFRICA K1 forum for people immigrating from here. One of the people on there got the NAO2 in 165 days. Their interview is on Wednesday so there is hope for us too... Just wish that time will go faster. My love and I are on day 96 since the NOA1 notice. Can't explain how excited we get thinking about it. Let's hope that the USCIS will get through the workload faster and surprise us. Miracles do happen.

Have a awesome week ya all. Keep the positive energy going.

My timeline has moved back (forward?) by another day. B-) As a rule how accurate is the timeline?

I don't want to get too excited! :jest:

NOA 2: 08 September 2018

Distance is no demon,

Often I think it can be a blessing for those in love,

a silent, underappreciated blessing.

It will have no power over us.

When you come stumbling to my door after months, with flowers and wine in hand,

I will be ready.

When I pick you up from the airport, the feeling will be unmatched,

that feeling like birds bursting in song from beneath my lungs,

that feeling unlike any other.

We have to stay strong and remember what is most important;

I love you, and you, me.

The air between us is nothing but a metaphor.

Nothing, not one thing, can come between us.

It shows the time it "may" get adjudicat it. But thinking there are at least 100-200 people per date and not everyone gets at the same time I'd say plus minus 10 days on average.

Sorry I just saw it. Don't worry about it if you have the number yourself. You can always call and ask for status :)

Hi everyone! I just entered to the US to visit my fiance and I went through immigration without any problem! The CBP officer asked regular questions about where was I staying, the length of my visit, and what did I do for a living back home. The word fiance was not even mentioned in the conversation bc of the nature of the questions he asked. Since I'm staying with my sister, he asked about her status here in the US and what did she study. At the end, he asked why did I have so many vacations and he answered the question himself: "oh right, its summer over there" (??)

POE was Las Vegas.

hi december filers!

i wanted to ask a few questions:

1. any december 21, 2017 received date  filers here?  (i was considering to make a little group chat in facebook for that specific group of filers where uscis recieved their case on that date, since i noticed that uscis is processing k1 visas by their received date based on the august and september filers which i follow).

2. then any december 2017 (manila embassy) filers here? (i was also considering to make a little group chat in facebook for those specific people who share the same embassy as me so we could update each other there for like current times and procedures and specific experiences at specific officec like cfo, slc and usem there).

@Naes
hey naes, i knew i could see it before, but now not so sure how i ended up there or if i remember correctly. but i wanted to like check how many dec 21, 2017 filers are there. i asked you since you usually do that table thingy where you had the number of people who filed on that day. so i kinda have an idea how many i'm gonna be sharing that date with. always nice to be able to support each other specially when the date is coming closer.

I don’t have it with me but I can post it in the weekend if that’s ok?

although please remember December has a big amount of cases that does not appear on status (validation errors) so it should be more than what my numbers will show.

hey naes!

yup i totally don't mind at all. yeah i read one of the members here is still having trouble with that wac number after 3 months. that's so sad for them. so yeah i'm sure there are other cases like that too. but yeah would be nice just to have an idea. i'm sure even if we had a complete number, probably not all those december 21 received date filers would even want to join, so it's all good. hehehe. thanks soo much! i super super super appreciate it!

sent k1 visa to uscis: dec 20, 2017
uscis received k1file: dec 21, 2017
noa 1: dec 27, 2017

so last feb 26, 2018, i asked my fiance to change his mailing address (his parents' home address in georgia which is the one that's written in our k1 file) to his current physical address (his military base address in california - which was written as his physical current address in our k1 file). we had to change it because my fiance's parents might be out of town & country when the noa 2 arrives + his new military address received mail so much faster than his old one (maybe because he was on a air carrier ship).

anyway, he logged in the uscis website and then changed it. and this is what it appears on the uscis website now:

uscis1.jpg.bfd04ace801d69d3021a18f081f804a1.jpg

5ab358471b6be_uscis2.jpg.5161b34efd6b193bc99df5c77622fb1b.jpg

this is what we got for a reply in my fiance's email from the uscis:USCIS3.thumb.jpg.076a8f42451cfbd3a19ce39518e3fbd8.jpg

so on the website the status hasn't changed. it says that our case was was received last december 21, 2017 and in the case history it says that our request to change address was completed, then they sent in a response (so i'm guessing the email cause there was no other response) and then the third one was that

questions:
1. was that "response" the uscis talked about like a noa1 for a change of address then expect a noa 2 when they already changed the address and accepted the change?
2. was the email considered the response already like noa 1 for the address change? or was it the noa 1 and noa 2 already?
3. should we be expecting a snail mail/real letter sent to my fiance's mailing address (like those silent noa2's) to like notify us of their acceptance of the change? or was the email "it" already?

thanks so much! just trying to make sure we're right on track and won't be delayed because of this.

thanks so much for anyone who knows or experienced this as well!

however I have a case on my tracker that had an address change (from September) and tre case history (which shows if you have uscis account) shows this but it still says "case received"

- seems to have appeared in the case history already but not sure if they already did it "We have updated your address in our data systems for the case(s) you contacted us about." in the email but we didn't get any snail mail/real letter mail in my fiance's mailbox and the status on the uscis website in the case history hasn't changed yet to like "action taken or request accepted". so still waiting and just wanting to be sure.

If your case status changes with an online update that case status will most likely change to "document was mailed" because they will mail you a document explaining that action.

- so i guess it didn't change yet. or might not change.

you can also create an account as the applicant (I made one) Or try making one more. (Mine used to give error too)

- i tried but it didn't allow me to because i had to be the petitioner/there was no beneficiary choice. anyway, to solve that i just log into my fiance's uscis account. hihihi. at least one account which both of us can check. though actually i'm the only one that does the checking.

thanks so much naes! i appreciate it!

hey little vixen! welcome back! so happy you had a fun time with your fiance! seems like it was a fun adventure. my fiance also came to visit last february 6-15. short one but i'm happy he did. then his parents came over to visit also and meet my whole family/clan.

about the timeline, well currently the last touched date is sept 21. and they've been working about an average of maybe 90-100 cases per day for september while they do about 30-50 cases i guess for august. so it seems the uscis has been steadily going at it with lots of silent noa2's. which makes our current vj timeline keep moving back. for a time it would move back 1 day everyday... then recently it hasn't. or it will but then move a day forward and then back again. i guess my vj timeline's been a confused kid this week. but hopefully the uscis momentum will keep up so that they can start october cases next week. and then start doing some november cases in like end of april. so december would probably be end of may-june. but with uscis you just never know. but still crossing my fingers an hoping to be in america by august-september. i really want to get married on 8-18-18. hahaha.

@Katrina RoaThank you so much! I hate seeing my fiancé go but love being able to have the time to get back on VJ again, haha.

It would be great if we would have our NOA2 before the end of May. I am hoping for a 8-25-2018 wedding, that's my parents 40th anniversary.

As time comes closer I get more and more nervous. Wondering if I filled out everything correctly. We made a big booboo when he was here. It was all my fault. I told him all the paperwork I needed from him for the embassy stage but forgot to get all the paperwork ready for him to sign. When we finally had time to sit down and went through the paperwork I noticed I had forgot, and when I took out the printer the darn thing was out of ink. <_< So now I have to print it, send it to him, have him sign it, and send it back to me. And mail from and to the US is unreliable at best.

And dec 22 here, sorry
