December Members!

It is with great sadness that I report that I sent a letter today to withdraw our petition. VisaJourney has been my lifeline during this process and I will miss it.  @Naes thank you for all your hard work keeping us informed! I also want to thank all the moderators on this awesome site!!  And lastly, thank you all you beautiful, wonderful people who have been involved In this long tedious process. My heart is broken right now, but I pray to God that all of you have a healthy, happy journey in life and love!!

Well if they start October this week then yes in 2 month we could predict them starting December. Please let him know june had lots of silent approvals (lots) that’s why it looks like that. And other months too. And yes it is possible for anyone to wait longer but also shorter :)

I’m waiting longer than my average supposed to be but it only means the averages are getting shorter and unless my case is stuck because of a reason (that I have no clue of) it only means that it will come in the next two weeks when October starts because that’s when they will do most of the leftovers of September.

Oh boy!!! Did I see an October NOA1 with and approval today?? Getting closer, hang in there!.... Hopefully the next 2 months won't move so slowly. At least I get to see my fiance next week! Funny how a super long plane ride is no big deal when your loved one is at the other end :-)

Hello guys! Im so excited to see an October filer approval yayy...from my understanding October and November tend to have less cases. Do any of you think its possible to get good news in less than 2 months?

Hi! I think so hehheh. Depends though... Our lawyer assured us from the very beginning that we would get approved in April (we are 8 dec filers)  Now she is not so sure lol. Mid May would be perfect :)

Actually, based on the Monthly scan totals provided by @Naes, October appears to have the largest number of applications of the 7 months June 2017 - Dec 2017.   But the November count is not looking too bad.

Monthly Status and Numbers :

Please remember, There are quite a number of December cases that does not appear due to validation errors.

And that there are also many cases that look still virgins on case tracker system because of the old system and Silent NOA2s that were happening.

At the current rate of USCIS processing, first NOA2s for a given date are running about 180 days after NOA1 notice, so Mid June is probably a more realistic best case scenario.   Check and monitor your Visa Journey Timeline for changes in your estimated NOA2.

Well screw that. I just made a new account and my date is officially dec 27 now in stead of 22 <_<

I know, it doesn't matter much in the long run, its just bothersome.

@Naes sorry to ask something that has probably been asked a thousand times. Do I need to change my VJ date now?

Nope that’s just submitted date. For inquiries.

your received date and receipt date is same. I believe the submit date is either the day you received the text notification of noa1 or 1 day before your noa1
