  1. That's awesome! Had the same feeling myself when it happened to me, they usually schedule the interview a little over a month after the interview notice date, so you're getting close! I still check my EAD/AP case status, just to see if it will say anything different or dissapear altogether haha 😁
  2. Wohoo! So glad things are moving forward, hope you, and everyone else still waiting gets the GC soon!!
  3. Califonia seems to be lucky (especially if you get the San Bernadino office or get transfered there)
  4. Green Card finally in hand! Thank you everyone for the valuable information during the jurney, and I hope everyone's cards come soon!
  5. It just did! and thanks! Card Was Picked Up By The United States Postal Service On July 30, 2019, the Post Office picked up mail containing your new card for Receipt Number MSC------------. We mailed your card to the address you gave us. The tracking number assigned is ------------------------------------. You can use your tracking number at www.USPS.com in the Quick Tools Tracking section. If you did not receive the card, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we resend the card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
  6. I changed my EAD/AP on vj as recieving them on the date of my interview, since the green card allows you to work and travel anyway. It might be that the VJ estimated time goes up even more because people who get the interview and the gc just leave the EAD/AP part "unfinished" (even though it will be canceled by USCIS) and that bumps the estimated time even more. But the wait for those has gotten so long that it might not even be a factor, who knows
  7. And 5 days after my interview, Case Status finally changed to Card was Mailed!! I heard I am supposed to get a USPS tracking number also, but this notice doesn't have it? Card Was Mailed To Me On July 29, 2019, we mailed your new card for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC--------------------, to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by August 13, 2019, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we send your new card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
  8. Thanks! I didn't call or get any info on the site about the transfer, the IO told me after the interview when he looked at my case (and saw it was originally at the Santa Ana office) When I saw that my case status changed to "interview has been scheduled" so much faster than I thought it would take, I figured I jumped ahead of the queue for some reason.
  9. Soo I just looked at informed delivery and I have a letter from USCIS coming. It says page one of one and is dated july 24th (the day I had the intreview) I am presuming that's the formal approval letter and not the actual green card? Since on the website (that still just says Cse was approved) it says they will email me my approval notice. Also just curious, how does the actual letter with the green card inside look?
  10. I didn't get any notice of it, this was something IO told me after the interview. He said that someone could have done it mistakenly while picking out cases to transfer.
  11. My petition originally went to the Santa Ana office, but because them and all the surrounding offices are so backed up, some of them got transfered to the San bernandino office (thats what the IO told me). Even with that he was suprised mine got through that fast, since he said they are still working on December/January filers. Hopefully more march filers get lucky like i did
  12. Thank you! Most of the interview descriptions I read before mine were people saying how relaxed and easy it is, just a small chat with the IO and that's it, so I wanted to post my experience to show others what might happen if they suspect something.
  13. I'm glad someone else waited a bit also, everyone I talked to said theirs changed the same day or the day after. I'm just being antsy since I am waiting for the card so I can book my flight back home for my first visit (Hoping to leave begining of September so I can take my exams back home in time)
  14. Day two after the AOS interview and the case status still says Approved.. What do I have to do for them to start making the damn card lol (jk)
  15. Thanks! I got quite scared when IO only asked me to go with him, but I'm very glad it all turned out okay. Now just waiting for the actual card to arrive, so i can book my flight back home for the the first visit.
