@S*UK Yay! But sure that took long :wacko:

@sunj Congratulations! Finally! :jest:

@amishbaby First things first... Congratulations! So happy you two can be together soon (specially after what you told us about his experience with his family after the medical :mellow:).

As someone that has received today her Visa package, I can confirm those two emails are the standard for them mailing you back your passport plus documents. You can open the first envelope, that's for sure.

Actually mine was a postal plastic envelope. Inside there was another brown paper envelope that I had to open to. Inside this one was my passport with the visa printed in one of the middle pages, plus another brown envelope, heavy sealed with all the do not open and informative labels (stating you can't open the envelope, that it contains your Visa documents and it has to be handed to the Immigrant Officer at your POE).

So definitely open that envelope and find your real golden ticket inside. Just do it carefully, but without fear. The envelope will be clearly marked.

Anywhere, of course. It doesn't matter because Government is Government anywhere ;)

So they'll pick your documents and process your visa entry and send everything to Immigration...

I'm seeing several May approvals. But our case hasn't been updated since May 10th. Does anyone know why this might be?..

Please fill in your timeline, right now that is tough to answer. When was your NOA1, did you already get an NOA2 or not? Please also remember that there are a large percentage of April cases that are still sitting at NOA1 only. The very lucky from May are starting to get some updates, but that is a fraction of the population of applicants.

Shared this on the March list, thot I'd cross post it.  Shows the CSC Bins your I-129F petitions are in just waiting for someone to come along and choose it.

As I understood the article, it said that binders and other means of attaching and assembling your packet are removed, as well as sheet protectors, and it is 2 hole punched at the top and placed in these brown folders.
