Thank you! Hoping booking the interview this soon and close to the medical wasn't a terrible idea haha

I'll let you know how it goes :)

It should be fine :) . The difference between medical and interview was just 6 days for me and it worked out.

Nothing in Informed Delivery.... I am beginning to worry that the Tier 2 gave me some misinformation. I can't wait until the day that I no longer stress about this process.

I am actually planning to call Tier 2 today given how long it was between flagging me for the RFE and when they actually mailed the letter last time. I wonder if you are in the same boat, flagged but the person hasn''t gotten the packet closed off to send to NVC or something silly.

I have copied and pasted from a previous post:

Yeah sure. It is important to note that the interview never felt like an interrogation. It felt more like a pleasant conversation to double check a few things. I was asked the following questions:

1.a) How did you two meet?

1.b) this was a follow up question: When she left the UK did she go back to Illinois?

2) How do you keep in touch?

3)What does she do and what do you do?

4) When do you plan to get married?

5) I see you have a cosponsor, what does he do?

That was it. What followed was a congratulations and that the visa and passport will be returned to me within two weeks. It really was a normal flowing conversation, unlike the rigidity that putting it in a list like above makes it seem to be.

Hello,

On Monday, September 25th, I was alerted via email that I had an RFE coming my way. I received it in the mail yesterday (28th) and sent it off the same day visa priority express mail such that USCIS should receive it today. I am wondering what (if any) the average times to get approval are after USCIS receives an RFE. I realize that, as with anything dealing with USCIS, there is a pretty large span of time, but I was hoping some of you may have experience with RFEs and could provide some insight! It was a pretty easy fix...they wanted my passport biographic information page to go with the scans of my passport stamps I sent in as evidence of meeting once in the last year.

NOA1 Received Date: April 27th, 2017

NOA1 Notice Date: May 1st, 2017

RFE email notice: September 25th, 2017

RFE hardcopy received: September 28th, 2017

USCISs Response to RFE received: September 29th, 2017

NOA2: October 10th, 2017

NVC Received and Case Number Assigned: October 24th, 2017

NVC Left and Consulate Received: October 26th, 2017

Medical Exam: November 7th, 2017

Interview: December 5th, 2017 APPROVED

Visa on hand: December 8th, 2017

POE (LAX): December 12th, 2017

It took us I think 10 days if I remember properly :)
