These are touched or updated (all types of updates) feel free to add a 15% more because we have tons of cases not updated in the system... yet noa2 is in hand...

Thank you.  I knew she was "the one" while he was stationed in South Korea.  Carl never smiles in pictures, but from the day he met Jona, he was nothing but smiles in every picture he posted.  I know he's truly happy when he's with her and that's all that matters to me.  Unfortunately, I know what you mean about some family members.  Carl's sisters and I are excited for him and have been chatting with Jona over facetime to get to know her so she'll feel more comfortable once she gets here.  But the rest of the family has made some ridiculous comments.  Just don't understand their problem.  One of the big ones people bring up is - you barely know her, you got engaged within six months.  Then I remind them that my husband and I got engaged after just two months and have been together for 25 years now - while all of them are on marriage 2 or 3!  When you know, you know.

I wish everyone here nothing but love and happiness!!

I love that!! You're so awesome. I haven't met my fiancé's immediate family yet; I'm going to Sweden beginning of the year to do just that, and of course familiarize myself more with where he's from before he comes here permanently. I was so worried about his parents and sister accepting this because they haven't met me yet, but you sound a lot like his mom. :) She says she knows I'm the one by how happy I make her son. We have one another on social media and I chat with them all as much as I can to get to know them as much as I can in the meantime.

He has people on his end who don't understand, too. We met online, and a lot of people can't understand that. We knew that going into this what the situation was, and would be, but the support from those who matter is truly the most important thing. I wish the greatest of luck to Carl and Jona!!

Håll ut, y'all.

Hello all  long time lurker here

case was received for k1 June 12 2017 ( WAC1790362943). Please add me to google docs as I am unable to

I have called uscis before with no luck so I just decided not to waste my time. This thread has been of great help (more than uscis) and insight especially for my fiancé who is anxiously waiting to be reunited with our 1 year old baby boy.

Visa journey says I should hear about my noa2 during last week of November. I know these are estimates but that just drove me crazy.

Anywho glad to be part of this group!

I saw that too.  They just joined two hours ago so there is very little info.  I'm wondering if they are expedited or if they put 6 (June) when they meant 5 (May).  Either way, an approval is an approval.  I'm not 100% convinced that USCIS has started processing the third week of June yet!

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

Saw a white, letter-sized envelope in the mailbox yesterday and it nearly gave me a heart attack - a bit too early for that, I think, but I'll be checking with bated breath for the next week or two!  I've got a sneaking suspicion many of us early June folks won't get tracker updates due to this weekend's outage...will be interested to see what happens.

166 days for me today!

Hello,

Long time lurker here!

You guys have been a godsend to me and my fiance!

Not sure if anyone would have an answer to my question, but worth a try:

I'm Canadian and we got our first NOA on June 12, we submitted on June 9 through his lawyer.

We visit each other back and forth every month, sometimes he comes, sometimes I go, our trips are not longer than a few days.

He has a big work Christmas party mid December and he really wants me to be there, BUT we are expecting to hear back around the end of November according to Igor's list.

Would I still be able to travel if I had my NOA 2 approval but not my Visa?

Thanks for helping!

Hello! My fiancé is Canadian as well...if you have not had any trouble at the border you should be fine once NOA2 arrives. Just make sure you bring ties. My fiancé was rejected at the border on his last attempt as they suspected he was trying to immigrate illegally...however many people travel without any problems. They didn’t give him a ban or anything...but told him to wait for his visa to go through 😬 I would bring your NOA1 and NOA2 and proof of ties to Canada

He was rejected? I am so afraid of that :(

That must have been horrible for you guys.

Maybe I take it a lot lighter than most people, cause I take no paperwork in regards to employment or family.

But thank you! We will take the risk because at least that means we know we tried lol.

I will need to make sure I'm prepared for it this time.

Quick question for the forum seeing that so many of you are so very knowledable. My received date is June 23 but my WAC number is 1790380527, which falls to the end of the June batch. Will they get to me by my date or WAC number? I have no idea why my number seems to be that much higher then the other June 23rd peeps. Thank you in advance! So many wonderful people on here!
