Hello, 

 

I called on January 26 and spoke to a tier 2 who informed me that my case was approved on 1/22/2018... today I called and they informed me that my case still pending... so not sure what to believe anymore.  

 

Today is day 100 after they received my RFE response.

I-130 for my step daughter

 

4/6 - I-130 sent USPS

4/7- I-130 received at Chicago Lockbox

4/12 - Money order cashed

4/13 - Notice of acceptance (Text/ email) - Case assigned to TEXAS

4/18 - Notice of acceptance (regular mail USPS)

10/4- RFE - for intial evidence notice online

10/19/2017 RFE notice received

10/20/17 - RFE response sent

10/21/2017 - RFE delivered to USCIS address

10/23/2017 - USCIS system updated " Response to USCIS request for evidence was received

1/22/2018 - Approved (Tier2 informed me by phone)

2/8/2018 - Case Sent to NVC

2/21/2018 - NVC received case 

3/30/2018 - Case & Invoice number over the phone

3/30/2018 - DS-261 completed

4/2/2018 - Welcome letter by email

4/3/2018 -  Paid $120 & $325

4/10/2018 - Sent IV & AOS documents

4/11/2018 -  Post office delivered documents to NVC

4/11/2018 - Completed DS260

4/23/2018 -  Case Completed

Received the approval letter today, but got approved january 3! Glory to God! Pd march 3 2017. I hope and pray for everyone waiting to get their approvals soon too, God bless us all! ❤❤

Abies,

 

I spoke to 2 different tier 2 one in English and the other one in Spanish.

 

The English speaker told me that an action was taken and that a letter was mailed but that my case still pending. I inquired about the letter but she ststed that she cant see what was the letter about.

 

The spanish speaker told me that my case is pending and that she dont see no letter mailed to my address.

 

I spoke to them today 1/31/2018...  even though in 1/26/18 another tier 2 informed me that my case was approved on 1/22.

Got an email today and uscis case status update that my case was forwarded to the NVC! Halleluiah!!

We received the letter of approval in the mail today. NOA1 07/14/2017 and NOA2 01/30/2018, Texas Service Center (no RFE, no update online or via email/text).

I got approved on the same day...on 02/01 i got an update on the uscis website n by email and text that it was finally forwarded to nvc...i called uscis twice n nvc almost every other day this past month since it was driving me crazy..uscis tier 2 agent told me it'll take upto 45 days n nvc keeps telling me 6 weeks n an additional 2 weeks to assign a case number..i will update when nvc receives it and when i get a case number!
