  1. I could not find a general forum for all the Texas Service Center filers to come together and share their progress. This will give us TSC filers a general idea of what dates they are currently working on. My timeline is in my signature. Good luck to everyone, keep us up to date on your progress!
  2. As of today makes 282 days since the service center has received our petition . I’ll never stop praying or taking any course of action to get a decision made on this petition . Our case was out of the normal processing time 12/22/2018 where I sent the initial service request , that service request was responded to with a generated email stating to wait 60 days ( which will make 10 months ) this case is with an officer and further review needed. I contacted my senator and 5 weeks later I received a response postal mail that even after over 9 months our case was still not assigned and not in queue. The other senator responded to us after receiving our privacy from 3 weeks later stating at this time it was best to wait 30 days and contact them( aka do nothing ) The most recent course of action that has taken place is where I contacted Ombudsman for assistance however I received a email stating they’re closing our case because we are in the normal processing time . Once I sent Ombudsman a detailed email with receipts stating that information was incorrect I received a voicemail stating our case was back open and an apology for the mistake . Also I have sent in another service request as a USCIS rep has informed me I can submit one every 30 days from the initial response which I received 01/02/2019. I can’t believe this is my life , 😔😢💔. I’ve have interactions with certain people on this forum whom filed before us yet I tell them they’ve waited so long then they are approved and in the end we are waiting longer than them. My husband and I are heartbroken by all of this , and it feels like I’m living in a nightmare. Every avenue takin to get answer has been shut down with a generated response and rudely told to wait as if almost 10 months hasn’t been enough time s/N: Also I have spoke to two tier 2 reps . One encounter was nice and she said your case should be assigned soon however that never happened and the other tier 2 rep refused to submit a service request on our behalf VERBATIM: letting me know those were a waste of time and case approvals can happen with 11-12 months and everything in my case looked good and to wait .
  3. Hello everyone! It seems like there isn't a May 2018 I-130 thread for U.S. Citizens applying for parents through consular processing. I will be sending mom's application 5/24/18, right after I leave my Naturalization Ceremony everything is ready to go, just waiting on that certificate! From what I have been reading from last year threads, the whole process is taking around a year, give or take. I-130 approval seems to be around 6-8 months (it can be more or less, of course). Please share your input! Hope to talk to you all soon! Good luck to all of us!
  4. Please delete if this post is not allowed. Our case is at TSC, NOA1 August 1st 2017, we contacted USCIS many times, senators, congresswoman, and all we got was to be told to wait more or background check is still going on. No RFE yet. It's been over a year. Petitioner is USC, married for over 2 years (1 year at the time of NOA1). No criminal records, no huge age difference, no one was married before, beneficiary has never been to the US and has no one there but petitioner. We are too frustrated. Has anybody come across something like this before?
  5. Hello VJ friends, I have filed an I130 for my wife through a lawyer, petition has a priority date of December 15 being processed at TSC, and today makes it 234 days since my NOA1. I haven't heard anything, no RFE, I even called and received the generic answer although she did say it was being processed within in their normal time. I'm seeing petitions approve left and right and I'm starting to get a bit concerned. Today TSC has an inquiry date of December 1st and I was wondering if anyone has had to file an inquiry about their petition and what that process was like and the timeframe, because it seems like I'm heading that route.
  6. Hey everyone. How is everyone's wait time going? Filed I130: 1/17/2017 NOA1: 1/26/2017 I know we haven't waited long but this is killing me. Anyone having any good luck with TSC?
  7. 125 days and still waiting.. share your case here november filers from tsc! Have a great day everyone! ☺️
  8. I sent my I-129F visa packet 3/8/2018 to the Texas Service Center, and the expected delivery date was 3/12/2018. Today is 3/21 and I haven't gotten any updates. Unfortunately, I did not send it 2-day priority so I do not have a tracking number but I did include the G-1145 E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance. Should I be concerned already? I noticed most people get a NOA1 within a weeks time..

Hey everyone, I received the NOA2 January 10, 2018. I just looked on www.uscis.gov to see my case status today, it says "Case was sent to The Department of State." One month later. My question is how long does it take for the case to reach the visa center from Texas Service Center? Online, it says the case was sent on February 1, 2018.
  10. New to this website! i find it quite confusing not going to lie ANYWAYS! Here's my "story" So i met my husband overseas, i tried to get a tourist visa but got it denied We're married now and im an italian/colombian citizen and came to Colombia to be closer to him since he got transferred to San Diego ..my husband is in the US navy and currently deployed since October '17..he filed a I-130 a couple of days before leaving and we have a lawyer helping us with the process and asked to expedite our case, with many months apart the least we would like is me being in port waiting for my husband. Now i obviously got the receipt 2 weeks after the forms were sent and my husband being so impatient constantly messages our lawyer if theres anything we can do to speed up the process. I'm a big traveller and know visas take a long time and work .. On the USICS processing time page i find it so confusing to understand whats going on..Our lawyer sent our application to Texas Service Center but the receipt is from Nebraska Service Center OCTOBER FILERS...do you have any idea when we could be hearing from immigration? also is there really any different treatment for military? This process is a roller coaster i just can't wait to get off
  11. In case you are interested. I-130 Petition Statistics were released about a week ago. This data shown below is for Immediate Relative (IR) only A few key points Petitions received in 3rd Quarter seem to show a return to normal levels, after an increase coincidentally around the US election Texas is starting to process are greater portion petitions. I-130 approvals are trending upwards, but still remain depressed compared to 2015 The backload of pending petitions petitions may be evening out, but is high compared to historical trend.
