How will your family feel about you never becoming a father?

Never is a strong word to use.

This week, there are news of a woman becoming first time mother at the age 72 year old through IVF.

Plus there are always the possibilities of remarrying someone younger down the road to start a family :P

I believe OP is saying she is a citizen. Many people don't know how to properly explain themselves especially if English is not their main language.

Honestly that's one reason I believe that his GF should be looking into this as well. There's a lot of things in this that could be lost in translation, bother literally and figuratively.

Again though, Myself and the OP should probably refrain from saying girlfriend. Ideally if he's planning on her filing this, they should be considering each other fiance.

People with that size age gap do get approved. But they have to PROVE that they have a real relationship. One visit and 4 years of chat logs is not much evidence... especially with 37 years difference. How long is she going to visit? It will have to be a LONG visit if this is the only one you're planning before applying and having your interview. I'd highly recommend at least one more visit if not two or three more.

Think about your culture and what is the cultural norm for marriage? If it's expected in India that you'd have children be prepared to face that issue as well. You'd need even more relationship evidence than if it is just the age difference.

It doesn't sound like you are prepared for the process. Don't rush into it until your girlfriend has done her research. It will save you both some heartache.

Thanks you all of you for your suggestion but sir she is permanent resident of USA since 1994 plzzz suggest us should we apply for k1 visa?

She cannot bring you to the US. If she has been here since 1994 why is she not a US citizen yet? Only US Citizens can bring a fiance into the country. She could go to you and get married, then file a CR-1.

LPR's can.

If you guys in love so much and if she is US Citizen, why not let her come to India, do a traditional Indian wedding, invite the entire family then she can petition you for k3 visa. Then its up to the CO to decide if he will approve it or not after going through the process in the US. If approved, the you can travel to the US and live happily ever after..

If your parents approve of it, then that is good...maybe your chances are much better this way than the K1.

K3 is effectively dead.

As well as everything else, they have so far not yet met. Is getting married on the first visit, combined with such an age difference, not a worry as well?

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

38 years age difference is a huge especially in Indian culture she is much older than you I think if it was the other way around it might still be ok. But if you are determined and your relationship is true no one can stop you from coming to US to stay with her. Nothing in the immigration law states that the person wont be granted a visa if there is an age difference.

culturally, no indian 23 year old marries a 60 year old woman.. yes, 23 year old filipino women marry 60 year old american men.. so you need to base it on the cultures and norms of that country..

a 23 year old man (from indian) marrying a 60yr old woman is a huge red flag for that country.. however, she had a GC so i wonder what her nationality and background is? the best thing to do if it is reallyr eal, is to have a traditional indian wedding.. if you can have a traditional indian wedding and marry her and do the CR1 then it shows that it is a legit marriage and you arent trying to use her for a GC.

The CO can if he is not convinced there relationship is genuine.
